Camp and play on 600 acres of undeveloped forest overlooking the Long Island Sound.
Located on a high bluff overlooking the Long Island Sound, this popular park offers an easy escape to nature, with scenic views and plenty of amenities. More than 300 campsites offer plenty of space for RVs, trailers, and tents, and 10 cottages ensure a comfortable stay. The park features two miles of beachfront, perfect for sunbathing, swimming, paddle boarding, and fishing. There are also miles of hiking trails, biking trails, and cross-country skiing trails among the rolling green valley and hardwood forest landscape, along with picnic areas, a playground, sports fields, food concessions, and a cooperative hunting area.
The park is open year-round, while the campground is open from April to October. The park is busiest over the summer, especially on weekends. During July and August, movies are screened in the park every Wednesday and Saturday, along with weekly dances. The popular Fall Festival is held the first weekend of October. Hunting season runs from November to February.
