Oh! Pear Orchards is nestled in the Endless Mountain Region in northeastern PA. Located on the fertile ground between two rivers, the orchard has several varieties of pears, including, but not limited to, Olympic Giants, Hosui, Bartlett, and 21st Century. In addition to selling Asian pears, Oh! Pear offers a look at a close-to-zero energy footprint. Within a half-hour of our campsites are the Merli-Sarnoski Park and the Lackawanna and Salt Springs State Parks--which offer hiking, fishing, and other outdoor activities. Endless Brewing and EMR Event (Paintball) Park are also located nearby. For a list of campsites, scroll further down! Although our check-in process is generally to go straight to camp, if we're onsite, we do offer the option of a meet and greet. While we respect the privacy of our Hipcampers, we also love to meet our Guests and are very conversant if you choose to grab our ear! If you forget something and we're on-site, let us know--we might just be able to help! For Holidays and Special Events, we do require a 2-night minimum stay, there will be a cost of $20 for each additional Hipcamper and we operate under a SUPER STRICT Cancellation policy. For non-Holiday/Special Event weekdays, we offer a 20% discount. We limit to what we believe suitable the number of Hipcampers at each of our campsites. If, however, you are interested in adding to the limit, please feel free to contact us beforehand. Campsites: -HANNAH'S HAVEN: This is our original campsite--which began our Oh! Pear camping legacy. The campsite is a short walk downhill from where you park (please refer to the short video provided, when booked, for more information) and it is remote. Rugged, majestic, and serene sites (3) are spatially set alongside the picturesque stream. Each site is outfitted with a Big Horn 47" Wood Burning Ranch Fire Pit (with grill grate), a picnic table and the potential for an outside adventure. Bounded on one side by an escarpment and on the other side a mountain, this campsite is irrevocably secluded--and has been voted the #1 Hipcamp site in PA and in the nation--as evidenced by the nearly perfect positive reviews from those adventurers who have stayed here.....and our many repeat Hipcampers. -LIAM'S LAIR: Surrounded by towering trees and dense foliage, Liam's Lair offers a sense of seclusion that is both rare and precious. The only sounds that permeate the air are the gentle rustle of leaves in the breeze and the soothing murmur of the nearby stream, creating a symphony of serenity that lulls visitors into a state of peaceful reverie. Here, amidst the solitude of the wilderness, one can truly disconnect from the chaos of modern society and reconnect with the natural world. Whether seeking quiet introspection or shared moments of camaraderie around the campfire, Liam's Lair provides a sanctuary where time seems to stand still, allowing guests to embrace the beauty of seclusion in its purest form. NEW CAMPSITES/EVENTS ANTICIPATED NEXT SEASON (please, however, check beforehand): Outdoor Movies: Bring your camping chair/sleeping bag and watch a movie under the stars in the spacious farmhouse backyard. Sailor's Secret: A campsite for larger parties. Lucky's Ledge: A campsite for those not looking to bring their own equipment.

Another Great Time at Hanna’s Haven
This is my second time at Hanna’s Haven, and we had a great time! We reserved two out of the three Hanna’s Haven sites. They’re a little close together, but since nobody reserved the third site, we had plenty of privacy. The sites are in a little valley along a stream. The land is flat, and it feels hidden and peaceful. There’s a bit of a walk from the car, but Greg generously helped us with his utility vehicle. I’d recommend purchasing firewood from Greg. It’s high quality and easily accessible.

LIAM'S LAIR
Loved this campsite! Plenty of space, beautiful stream nearby, fire pit and picnic table are very convenient. Everything was clean and very well maintained. Site is very private, and the sound of the running water block most of the noises from the outside.

LIAM'S LAIR
Pros and Cons
We had a great time camping at Liam's Lair! We loved how selcuded it was. The fire pit and grill really came in handy, and we had the best sleep listening to the creek. We didn't feel the need to leave camp during our stay so we ventured up and down the creek, checked out Hannah's Haven, and cooked some delicious meals. A few things to note, we were given the option of two trails to access our site. The first trail, which I believe is the main Liam's Lair entrance, is a walking path. I'd suggest you only use this path if you are truly backpacking in, all others using carts should be directed to Hannah's Haven entrance along the creek. HH entrance was muddy but considerably better than the goat path mentioned earlier. Even with the creek as loud as it is, you CAN hear traffic. We did not realize this when booking but throughout the day and night you could hear traffic from surrounding areas. We stayed at Liam's Lair, but did check out Hannah's Haven as well. These sites are also very nice with creek access, but the sites are very close to each other and no privacy in between. Would definitely be good for a larger group. Lastly, while we were setting up camp we got word from the host that the prior campers had to ward off a bear that had stolen their trash. It wasn't a deal breaker for us, but could be for some and it would've been nice for Greg to communicate this prior to our arrival.

LIAM'S LAIR
Tucked Into Nature
Captain Greg’s serene riverfront campsites were lovely to stay at! The site was tucked into nature and right on the river which allowed our dogs to splash around all day until they were tuckered out. He has each site set up with a great fire pit and grill which we enjoyed. His walking paths/trails were also inspiring to my husband for our own property! We will certainly be back!!
