Just a small piece of God's creation right on the Saluda River. Come and enjoy the solitude and serenity of this spot on the Saluda River, surrounded by thousands of acres of forests and farms. Camp on the river, in the field or overlook the river from the high bluff in the old growth forest.  The gravel road going down to the river is finished, I drive my Honda Civic down daily and no issues (very low clearance). Kayaking from Holiday Dam to the camp site is incredible. The trip takes about 3.5 hours with lots of shoals and rapids. You can also kayak or tube from the camp site to Erwin Mill bridge in a little over an hour. This is more of a river float with just a couple rapids, but equally as beautiful.

Great way to kick off fall
We had a blast on the Saluda. The host was amazing with communication, providing firewood, a canoe and hose water. We had the place to ourselves. 10/10 recommend

Peaceful spot on the water
Beautiful, private spot on the river! The outhouse was very clean and one of the nicest privy I've ever seen. My friends and I will be back for a quiet night on the river.

Easy to find, plenty of flat spots for tents. Not too many bugs. Great spot!

Heaven
Serenity on the Saluda is perfectly named. We enjoyed the peaceful and private location. It was a perfect place for our pups to run off-leash and play in the river. Falling asleep to the sounds of crickets and katydids under the stars was magical. John was very kind and helped us out. John, thank you for sharing your piece of Heaven on Earth.
