Dutch Colonial Revival home built in 1949. Road was main highway from Morristown, home of Davy Crockett (family wayside tavern). Knoxville, Tennessee home located 5 miles from downtown. Access to indoor bathroom with hot and cold water, excellent guest WIFI, carport electric outlet and water. Outdoor shower with propane tankless hot water (when outdoor temperature is above freezing). Also includes firepit (with firewood). Class B vehicles are welcome. However, larger vehicles will not fit, so Class A vehicles are not included. Two Electric Vehicle level 2 charging stations - with a $10 fee for a full charge.

Nice hosts, car charger worked well

Richard and his wife were very nice and accommodating. They accepted a late check-in from me, showed me around the facilities before I turned in for the night. I charged my car while I was there and that worked out well, it charged at 30 amps. I would definitely stay there again.

Woods - tent camping

Just like home

Richard place was really good and comfy. Had a tranquil experience in the morning with the bird songs. Wish we had more time to talk and share our experiences with Richard and his cute family. Will love to come again.

Greenman campground

Prime location!

Richard’s property is a perfect location, so close to the highway, just minutes from downtown Knoxville and the zoo! Richard was very kind, helpful, and flexible with us. His fire pit area is cozy and adorable. The outdoor shower and separate “steam punk” bathroom are an added bonus and delightful. Richard really strives and succeeds at making your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Will definitely return and highly recommend!

Excellent stay.

We had a lovely stay on Richard’s property. My husband enjoyed the outdoor shower. It was great to have access to a Plumbed toilet too. Our pups had a blast and minus the outcome of the game on Saturday it was a perfect weekend. The hosts are great enjoyed chatting and wished we had more time. It’s marked as a favorite and would love to return.

Wonderful environment and great wif

I loved camping in my van at Richard’s!!! It was quiet and beautiful but so close to everything. I had my own bathroom and outdoor shower. It was so nice having a hot shower in the outdoor setting. What was amazing was the Wi-Fi. I had to work for two days and had no problem attending multiple zoom meetings. I would absolutely stay with them again!
