O. Fuller State Park Campground is full of surprises. In 1940, when the CCC was excavating for a swimming pool, they found evidence of a prehistoric village. Today you can visit a recreated Chucalissa Village along with a modern museum that displays the archaeological excavations. In addition to the history lesson, you’ll also find fabulous views of the Mississippi, miles of hiking trails, and a beautiful campground nestled in the hardwood forest.

Learn more about this land: There are a lot of soft people in the world today, if you're one of those people this isn't the place for you. In the spring and summer the property can become quite overgrown. Some people have had difficulty accessing the inner part of the property that is pretty well cleared and secluded. I happen to like it that way. A quarter acre, just a stone's throw from Graceland. The property itself doesn't provide much more than a place to park, but you can literally walk to Graceland and Beale Street is only about a 15 minute drive or Uber ride. My friend has parked his 5 window skoolie with a 15 foot utility trailer without any issues. There's no access to the shipping container on the property, but you're welcome to set out a few chairs and bbq on the back side of the property as long as you're careful about fires. There are no fire rings, toilets, or running water; and certainly no power. You're welcome to park or tent camp but understand that this property is very primitive. After the railroad tracks on the left is a road with a sign that says CR7200. You take that gravel road to you reach the end. The land sits behind a mobil home on the right. Signs are out and posted. Garbage must be removed when you leave the property. Any garbage left behind is subject to a $75 dollar fine for littering.
