Ocotillo Grande
The place is very close to Guadalupe Mountains National Park. It was not too hard to find either. The location was perfect, close to the road but not too close where it would be too noisy. Great views. Very peaceful and serene.

We had a good stay here, you get a good view and some nice spots to set up tents. I would recommend a car with 4 wheel drive otherwise it might be tricky getting up there. It’s a good spot to stay before hiking some of the tougher trails in Guadalupe.

Beautiful views
This place had the most outstanding views of capitán and Guadalupe peak! The location itself is very close to Guadalupe NP and was super easy to find! I would highly recommend anyone to stay here is visiting the park! Only con was that is was super windy and dirt was flying everywhere lol great adventure but definitely check the weather because it was a bit annoying .

Host Wed was very responsive. Easy to reschedule, answered questions quickly. The site was easy to find, I'd advise arriving in daylight the first time though. It is out in the open desert, as described. Nobody else around. You can hear road noise as sound carries on the desert. It's not that much.

Ocotillo Grande
Absolutely loved camping here! The spot has a gorgeous view. I enjoy camping in areas that feel secluded but are not totally in the middle of nowhere, which is exactly how this campsite felt. It gives you space and views but is close to a highway so it has quick access to the national parks nearby which is perfect! I had great phone service here as well. Would 100% recommend this campsite!!
