Mountains in the distance and crystal clear water right at your feet…you could say the scenery is quite fantastic at Baker Dam’s Campground.

If you drive 17 miles due north of St. George you’ll stumble upon this water recreation haven, and you’ll be glad you did. Fishing in the reservoir and boating are two of the main draws, but camping and picnicking are just as enjoyable. There’s a ton of private land surrounding the reservoir (except for at the southern end), so be sure to respect the privacy of landowners. You wouldn’t want randoms stumbling around your backyard, right?

Located in a private gated area on the shores of Kolob Reservoir, Kolob Campground is the premiere location for camping on Kolob Mountain in the Greater Zion National Park area. Kolob Campground is located adjacent to the Kolob Reservoir boat ramp and dock, including four acres of private shoreline. Just a few feet from the paved road, nestled in tall aspen, oak, and pine trees. Access to potable water is available adjacent to camp, and public restrooms (vault toilets) are only a short walk from camp.WiFi access is available nearby at Kolob Adventure Rentals/Adventure Beach (3 minute walk). This space is a beautiful, modern 2020, Grey tones, 2 bed and 1 bath camper. The master bedroom is nice and cozy with some pretty great clothes storage and views to the North and the West. The master bathroom has a Shower, a toilet and a sink. The dual washer and dryer is also located in the master bath. The kitchen is very cozy with a way to cook, refrigerate and clean. The dinning room consists of some awesome views with a 4 person table. Living room is two retractable chairs. There is a nice loft above the bunk room that, with some childish ways can be accessed up a steep ladder. In the back, there is a private bunk room with some storage under lower bunk bed and as you walk into the room to right is some cupboards. This room does have its own access to the outside. All together this place makes for an awesome glamping experience.
