Site 2 - Grateful Acres Vermont
This was one of the best mountain views I have ever enjoyed. We stayed one night in the rooftop tent and another in a cabin. It was great having both experiences. The evening skies were lit with stars like I've never seen. We are excited to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the nearby reservoir. We loved that the property was dog friendly and the hosts made us feel more than welcome! We cannot recommend this place enough!

Don’t miss out!
Incredible views of the green mountains and what an experience in the fall! I can see why this is one of Vermont’s top rated HipCamps! What sets this experience apart and without doubt in my opinion are the hosts, Stephanie and her son Noah. Both wonderful, kind, helpful, conscientious and accommodating human beings… as it should be! I will be adding the Grateful Acres to my rotation and look forward to my next visit!

My 2nd trip and will be back again. The cabins are clean and spacious. The property is well maintained and they are great hosts.

Grateful win!
Grateful Acres is a piece of heaven in Southern Vermont. Set on a Forest Service road near a gorgeous reservoir the setting is pretty ideal.
We stayed in our RV but the little cabins looked amazing. No water on site but the sites were well equipped with picnic tables, umbrellas, fire pits, grills and fire extinguishers. Very well maintained and welcoming.
A Grateful win!
Thanks Stephanie

Mars Hotel Tent
This is one of my favorite Hipcamps. I've stayed in the cabins here before, but decided to stay in the tent on this visit. What a great night we had! The tent has everything you might need, including two chairs, which were nice to set up under the trees. Also, I was fortunate enough to see the comet (Tsuchinshan–ATLAS) on the night we stayed! Amazing stargazing here!
