What was once formerly the Jepson homestead in the early to late 1800’s is now a private getaway for those looking for the traditional camping experience. The view of the Taconic Mountains, Jiminy Peak and Mt. Greylock will take your breath away!! With open fields and plenty of trails to explore, you’ll have no shortage of exploration. We offer three different listings, so check out to see which one fits your needs. A peaceful and private 40+ acre property with one of the best views in Southern Vermont (Mountain Top Getaway). Sitting atop mountains with a gorgeous view of nearby Williamstown, MA,the Taconic Mountain range, Jiminy Peak and Mt. Greylock. Trees, mountains and windmills make up this amazing view. Miles of trails encompass the property and surrounding watershed land allowing ample hiking and biking excursions. Plenty of wildlife to keep you feeling lost in nature as well! Firewood available on site for purchase (While supplies last) or feel free to gather your own from the dead fall. Come see this amazing view and you won’t be disappointed! LOVED this campsite! Very private, amazing views of Greylock which my pups and I explored since it’s closed by. Such a peaceful setting for off grid camping!

Perfect Secluded Camping spot!
We love this spot. It's our absolute favorite getaway camping location. When we go camping we like to get lost in the wilderness and this is exactly that! We've stayed in this location a few times now and it's always perfect and just what we needed. We hope to be back soon! Thanks so much!

Love this spot!
What a beautiful spot! Views are amazing! Nick was very nice and allowed us to use the water from his home for our shower bags. We have already been talking about going back. Super private and did I mention the view?! This would be a great spot to stay when the foliage starts to turn.

Just Passing Through
Nice stay for a night on our way through the area. The field was private, nicely maintained, and easy to find with the written directions.
