Easily accessible on Route 2, this property is a gentle southeast facing dale full of ancient granite erratics and a mixed forest canopy. It is unceeded land of the Abenaki people, and was farmed and logged by settlers. The old logging landing now serves as a convenient camp site with a picnic table and fire pit. We live just down the road on the homestead we manage holistically with our Chickens, and Gardens. We have one rustic camping site on the logging landing on the South side of Rt 2. The landing is directly on Rt.2, however you are welcome to hike into the property to set up camp. Learn more about this land: Come enjoy camping on our 25 acres with a beautiful Mountain view. The mixed woods forest is home to turkey, moose, deer, grouse, and more. You may see some while you are here. There is a large clearing to pull into with a picnic table and a fire pit for you to set up camp. From here you can enjoy the property and the adventures both the White Mountains of New Hampshire and the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont have to offer. Our home is located down the road, where you can buy fresh eggs. The nearby town has a vibrant farmers market every Saturday, coffee shops, local food store, and other amenities.Come enjoy camping on our 25 acres with a beautiful Mountain view. Great views of the mountain depending on time of year, it was near peak fall foliage for us but we still had some Mountain View’s. Host was super kind and helpful, they even stopped by when we arrived to make sure everything was good.

Kathryn and Bryan were incredible hosts, they provided extra goodies like local foods and they were DELICIOUS. Their property is beautiful, and there is a lot of places to explore both on and off the property in the nearby state park. We would recommend this stay to any friend who would like to camp in Vermont.

Fantastic host and great spot! Was perfect for our group. Kathryn helped out by renting porta-potties for us and made a few helpful additions to the property to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

Great spot
Perfect spot for "don't bother me" camping. No frills, but that's what you're looking for at this site. And very friendly, helpful host.

Quiet spot close to places to see
A quiet site in a convenient location close to great areas to explore. Our hosts were very responsive when making the reservation and even delivered firewood for us to use as well.

The site was exactly as described and Kathryn was great! She met us as we arrived and brought us firewood to use while we were there. There was some traffic noise since the site is right off the road, but that might be avoided if you choose to pitch your tent further out on the property (I didn't do much exploring and just stayed in the main clearing).
