Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
This quiet campsite is perfect for a couple and their dogs to escape into nature. Located in Bristol, VA; 7 minutes away from Kroger and Bristol's Hard Rock Casino, 21 minutes from Bristol Motor Speedway.
You can enjoy the peaceful quiet of camping in our retired horse pasture along the black Walnut tree woodline, yet still be close enough to Kroger if you need extra hotdogs. There's a good chance that you'll see deer, rabbit, or some type of wildlife during your stay. Firewood will be stacked by the burn pit so you can enjoy an easy fire. Walk around and try an apple from on of our trees if you'd like. There's plenty of room in the field to play fetch in the with your dog, so bring a frisbee or Chuck-It.

Location
Strategically situated in the southeastern United States, Bristol Tennessee-Virginia is a twin city located directly on the Tennessee-Virginia state line. Bristol is part of the metropolitan statistical area of Bristol, Johnson City, and Kingsport, commonly called the Tri-Cities.
Interstate 81 ties Bristol to important population centers such as Knoxville, Tennessee (118 miles west), and Roanoke, Virginia (143 miles east). Interstate highways 77 and 40 connect with 1-81 within 73 miles of Bristol. Interstate 26 from Charleston, SC to Asheville, NC is currently being extended through the Tri-Cities and is expected to be completed in the summer of 2003.
Government
Bristol, Tennessee, and Bristol, Virginia, are independent cities. Each has a council-manager form of government. Both cities have planning commissions, zoning ordinances, and industrial development authorities.
