Located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, this early 1900's home boasts spacious rooms and serene porches. Situated across from the once booming Gladstone Depot, this rental is close to the James River State Park, the historic Appomattox Court House, and charming Lynchburg Virginia. While here you can explore everything Virginia has to offer. It's just a short drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway for a scenic ride, a hike in the mountains, or a tubing trip down the James River. Other activities could include taking in a live performance at Wolfbane Productions in Appomattox, just 12 miles away or taking some adult beverage tasting at any of the dozens of wineries, breweries, and distilleries. Happy Rock Cabin

Quaint and clean cabin

Happy Rock Cabin was a joy to stay at. Shantina provided us with everything we could have needed at the cabin. Though it was close to the train there was hardly any noise during the night, everything was exceptionally clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The parking was a little tight as it was a shared driveway and we had a truck, but it felt private regardless, and was super close to the river.

Great stay in well equipped cabin

Happy Rock Cabin was a great experience! It has everything that you need for a relaxing time in the peaceful and mystical countryside. The cabin is well-equipped and super clean! The beds are big-we had wonderful sleep there! And kind host let us some fruit and sweets that came in handy when we went hiking during the day! Recommended!
