RV/Camper Site #2
We did not stay here. The site was not optimal for our 24’ rv with a slide out, and our 15’ truck with an extended cab. The space was too small. It is a very rustic location with a fairly steep driveway to the camper spot, which is right behind the barn. The owners were pleasant, honorable and very apologetic.

Tent Camping Site #1
Apryl’s land was very clean and the many surrounding trees provided shading to our camp site. We enjoyed seeing all the farm animal and puppies! Apryl opened up a lot of the area for us to use the picnic tables, grills, porta potties, electricity, and water. Apryl was very responsive and her whole family was so kind and friendly to our group offering to show us around and lend a hand.

Farm Camping
Apryl and her family run a fun and lively backyard farm. This is a working farm with all the noises, shenanigans, and charm that come with a small scale, family farm unit. The Tent Site #1 is down a shady path and adjacent to the small duck pond and animal enclosures. We were greeted by litter of livestock guardian puppies who promptly inspected all our camping gear and wrestled with our kids, much to my children’s joy. A goat managed to find its way over to inspect our family, and there were chickens, geese, cows, a horse, and sheep all communicating with each other about our arrival. Apryl’s family works on the farm and are warm and accommodating. They care very much about their stewards and their knowledge is evident. They are happy to answer any questions and include you in the work. It was POURING when we stayed and they set up a tent to teach my kids how to milk Azalea the cow. Because we were only passing through and staying one night, we didn’t get to try the farm dinner but maybe another time. We found the entire experience to be fun and exciting, a little bit of a different activity aside from your standard camping. I would absolutely recommend staying with Apryl and her family on her lively and sweet little farm.

RV/Camper Site #2
Apryl is an outstanding host. She exudes warmth and friendliness, promptly addressing any needs. Her culinary skills shine, especially with her delectable pot roast farm dinner – a must-try! Apryl’s husband and entire family share her welcoming spirit. They’re always ready to assist and provide a delightful experience. The children, well-versed in farm life, eagerly answer questions and even offer demonstrations. The RV site, conveniently located near the barn, boasts level ground and ample shade from surrounding trees. Yet, it allows enough sunlight for solar charging. Don’t miss the chance to immerse yourself in the farm life they offer!

Tent Camping Site #1
We had a great time at Apryl's land. Communication prior to the stay was great, and everything was as described. We shared the site with another family of 4 and although it was a tight fit for 2 ten person tents, we were able to both set up on flat ground. There was a trash can, firepit, picnic table, and clean composting toilet nearby. We had a fantastic time with the animals who were all friendly (with the exception of one sassy goose). We loved the chickens pecking around the firepit and the friendly little lamb. The playground equipment was close enough that we could keep an eye on the kids while we did stuff around camp, and there was so much play equipment that it kept them occupied the whole weekend. Thanks for a great stay!
