Welcome to our small Farm, nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Madison County, Virginia. Located just minutes from Shenandoah National Park, we offer intimate nature-inspired cottages and camping on our 120-acre working farm. Enjoy an evening under the stars with fireflies and a campfire after a long day hike, fly fishing on one of our beautiful trout steams or touring the local vineyards and breweries. We currently offer one cottage, glamping and a few campsites for our guests. Our campsites are all private, located acres apart with tables, chairs, firepits, some elevated sleeping areas, some hammock spots and a few with a roof. Three of our spots require walking away from your vehicle, short distances. We have four drive-in sites that will accommodate two or three vehicles. We do not allow RVs or trailers on our main farm due to our narrow mountain driveway. Wisteria Camp has a private driveway, it can accommodate small RV/Trailers. Camper vans are welcome at the main farm! Our farm store includes our Animal Welfare Approved products such as Eggs, Chicken, Beef, Pork, Lamb and Dairy, as well as produce, jams, coffee and other items from our local community. We offer camping essentials, local art, bike rentals, farm experiences and tours. The property has miles of trails along mountain spring-fed streams, a small pond and access to three private acres on the Robinson River, a stocked Trout stream, just 2 miles down the road. Our property is centrally located to White Oak Canyon (20 minutes) and Old Rag Mountain (10 minutes) trailheads in the Shenandoah National Park as well as many vineyards and breweries. A few offerings on the farm. Tasting in the 1850s Chestnut log cabin, tubing trips, breakfast and picnic lunches, Animal experiences and Yoga. Please inquire about renting the property for private small events.

Moonshine near Old Rag SHEN NP
Great for old rag hikes!
We had a lovely stay at the moonshine site in mid November. Nighttime lows were in the 40s. The cabin was a little chilly but there were plenty of blankets on the bed and we found it very easy to get to sleep and very cozy. Bonus, we met a very friendly big dog to announce our arrival. He also showed us to our camp. 😂

Birdsong Camp: Near Shenandoah NP
Great experience!
We loved staying at Birdsong camp! Last time we stayed at Gypsy and both camps are gorgeous. We loved the layout. You can tell the owners took great care with every detail. The mountains are beautiful and White Oak Canyon Falls was just a short drive away. We highly recommend and look forward to staying here again!

Cute Little Campsite!
The directions were great! It was a nice little campsite for our trip that put us within 15 minutes drive from the Old Rag Mountain trailhead. Thanks so much!!

Wonderful return visit
Beautiful and secluded campsite with the convenience of car camping. Our son loved seeing the farm animals as well. We will be back!

Gypsy Camp Near SNP
Perfect Fall Camping Weekend
Gypsy camp is a beautiful and private campsite with lots of space. We spent most of our time hiking in Shenandoah for the fall colors. The farm store was super fun to check out and had lots of different items, I came back with a great pair of Alpaca wool socks! Jennifer was super helpful in pointing out all the local spots we should know about and answering our many questions about the farm. I highly recommend buying eggs and breakfast meats from the farm store for your camp breakfast. I will 100% stay at this site again!
