Camping in the Gorge
Stars were shining and the birds were chirping.
This was a great place to spend a couple nights. The density of the new growth forest allowed for good privacy between sites. Bathrooms and showers were great too.
Nicely gravelled road up to the grounds.

#09 Single Tent Campsite
Gorgeous getaway in the Gorge!
This place is a hidden gem, only about an hour away from Portland. The grounds are well laid out and provide multiple amenities including a large communal area with games, a playground, multiple restrooms (including one with a shower) & an industrial sink to wash dishes. There was also a communal fire pit near the playground with stocked wood, but I believe this is only offered seasonally when a burn ban isn’t in effect.
My husband and I stayed at campsite #9 for one night, which was the perfect size for us and our dog. The parking space was located only a few feet away below the campsite which made it easy to unload all of our gear.
We most enjoyed sitting in the Adirondack chairs under the Tentipi which offered a sweeping view of the Gorge.
I highly recommend this Hip Camp and I’m sure it’s going to get popular once the word is out about how amazing it is. I’m already planning our next camping trip there, later this summer.

#10 Single Tent Campsite
So worth the price. Communal and bathrooms areas were exceptional. It was a much needed retreat. Absolutely loved it.

Booked to catch the summer solstice full moon. Easy access, phenomenal campground with well kept facilities and great, private sites. Perfect for a quick getaway from town or car camping with folks who don’t want to bushwack. Will definitely book again in the future.

Beautiful property in the Gorge! Very well organized and set up! Running hot water and flush toilets is a huge bonus! We had a wonderful stay.
