PLEASE READ!!! DO NOT use the coordinates that Hipcamp provides. It will take you to the other side of the river, about 20 minutes out of the way, only for you to have to drive back. You MUST use the address for navigation. 4729 Schwarzmiller Rd, Lake Stevens. Once you start down the gravel driveway, continue down past the main house, down to the red barn. I'll be there at the red barn then will guide you to your campsite. Ok, so, we're on a total of 30+ acres, with over 1,000 feet of the Pilchuck River running through our property. Your choice of a sandy beach, or a rocky beach, as well as forest land to explore. We often see deer, hawks, bald eagles, blue herons, beavers, as well as other wildlife living on, or roaming through our beautiful land. Feel free to float the river, enjoy a picnic, host a bbq, put in a game of horseshoes, roam, explore, or simply lay in the hammock all day. We're just a few short miles from the falls @ Granite Falls, as well as many local hiking trails. Or, if you prefer the lake, we are just a couple minutes from beautiful Lake Stevens. Of course dogs are welcome, however we ask that you keep them leashed as to avoid potential conflict with other guests or pets. On that note, 5'x5' kennels are available upon request, if you would like, for a small fee. Firewood bundles also available onsite. Lastly - DO NOT use the coordinates that Hipcamp provides. 11/10 experience!!!! Thank you Joe
Joe was absolutely amazing from check in, to coffee runs, to the good coffee conversation and clean sites. We made the trip out from Seattle and got some much needed peace and quiet. Would give this spot an 11/10 if I could. Highly recommend everyone put this place on your list.

Can’t beat this one!
Where to even begin? This place is a gem, and one that I hope continues to thrive. Even with a moderately full beach, Joe’s place was by far one of the best sites WA has to offer. Joe’s the cherry on top of the cake, and he wins this one big time. Good folks, good times, and one of the most genuinely kind hearted people out there. We’ll see ya again soon, Joe! Thanks again for grabbing us chairs, and for the coffee and cookie. Definitely a memorable birthday weekend away.

Beautiful camping spot!
We loved everything about staying at Joes! It was the PERFECT spot for camping. Easy access to the river from pretty much any camp site. We stayed at wild flower and it was spacious. Access to portable bathrooms which were super clean! We were really comfortable and not to mention Joe was the best host. He was really welcoming and super accommodating. We will be his regulars from here on out. Would highly recommend! -Devin and Polly

Gypsy Soul
10/10!
We could not be happier with our stay here. The host is incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. The site was exactly what we had hoped it would be. Gypsy Soul is set back in the trees but still right next to the river. It’s the best of both world’s there. And there was extra room by the river so we were still able to set up a hanging out spot there. It was perfect for our teenagers and preschooler and very dog friendly (but I recommend keeping them on leash). We are already planning our next time to come stay here!
