Secluded private site centrally located just a mile from Interstate 5, and 6 miles from the Interstate 5 / Hwy 205 intersection so most places in Clark County are less that 20 minutes away. Located 10 minutes from ilani Casino, 5 minutes from the Clark County Fairgrounds and amphitheater, and less than 30 minutes from some of the nicest freshwater lakes around. Hosts are avid Flyboarders, Jetskiers, Paraglider Pilots, and Stuart has been climbing since the late 1900's (1974 and up... back in the era where if it couldn't be nailed it couldn't be climbed). This is a secluded, Park Like property with walking trails all the way around it, and some interesting things for kids to spot, especially up Fairy Lane. Walking access is permitted, but you must keep pets on leash and keep an eye on your kids. In the dry season, typically May through the end of September, fires are not allowed, and plese USE EXTREME CAUTION IF YOU CHOOSE TO SMOKE ONSITE. If you are one of those who just tosses your butts in the underbrush, you will be asked to leave for the safety of our property and guests. There is no smoking allowed inside the cabin, bathroom, or anywhere near the sawmill, or any area North of it. There is an active sawmill onsite IES-Sawmill.com. People are welcome to visit, but equipment has the right of way and may not see you. Please avoid the log decks, and especially don't allow children to play on them, as logs can roll at any time. Some of the equipment is big, heavy, and doesn't have the greatest visibility if people walk up un-noticed. Always ensure that the operator sees you, and don't place yourself anywhere where a log that comes loose could run you down. Operating Equipment always has the right of way. There is a climbing wall on the North side of the machine shop. If you are an experienced climber with a partner to belay you can the appropriatte gear, you are welcome to use the wall, please let us know first. If the hosts have time, you may be able to convince them to give you a lesson. We are changing the anchors on our ziplines, so they are not available for use at this time. There is a public bathroom in the middle of the property beside the tree fort. It's well lit and open 24 hours a day. It has a flush toilet and a cold water sink and COLD water shower. The water comes out of the ground year round at about 60 degrees so it's a chilly shower. If you need a hot shower, renting the cabin is your best bet as it comes with a private bath that has a hot shower. We try to keep rules to a minimum, but people seem to find creative ways to cause issues. Please park outside the yellow gate in the parking areas noted on the map. Please park on gravel and DON'T DRIVE OFF THE GRAVEL ROADS ONTO THE GRASS. Anita hates it, as you can cause a fire in the summer, and leave muddy ruts in the wet seasons. If you're driving through the trees, you're doing something wrong. There is plenty of wildlife on the property especially in the couple hours before dark. Best place to spot deer, racoons, pocupines and beaver are down near the pond. Enjoy your stay. Stuart and Anita

Great camp spot

It’s a very open space with plenty of choices for putting one’s tent. The highway is close, but I found the sound of it to be like white noise. If you are going to a concert at RV Inn Styles Amphitheater, this is a superbly sweet place to rest your head afterwards. Enjoy!

Easy access to the RV concert venue and casino. In spite of the freeway noise, camp is peaceful and private, set in the woods. Great spot for the dogs. Easy to find and get set up. Would definitely stay again.

Great location near Portland

Easy to find. Right off the highway, so convenient for exploring the surrounding area and only 15 minutes from the Portland airport without traffic. Lots of space to set up our trailer. Good, clean bathroom with flush toilet and shower... potable water but no hot water yet, so it was freeeezing cold. Good communication.

Wish we could have stayed longer…

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the land is and the only complaint is the bathroom was a little walk from campsite but it was a nice walk and the bathroom was great. Not what you would expect. With a shower and sink. Also art on the property, and a treehouse and swings underneath it. A playhouse. I would highly recommend and it’s close to Amphitheatre. Peaceful, lots of grass and trees.

Easy access, with clear info up front. Nice flexibility to choose your own tent spot -- or car sleeping spot in my case. Possibly the cleanest little camp bathroom in the USA! The trees are being grown for harvest someday, but for now they shelter wildlife and us. Thanks Anita and Stuart for the welcome!
