Creekside Site #23 @ Buffalo Gap
Absolutely loved this campground!!!
Me and my boyfriend took a last minute camping trip to site #23 at Buffalo-Gap and absolutely loved it! He had never been camping before and wanted to stay near the water so this was the perfect spot for us. The babbling creek right near our tent was the perfect sound to wake up to, and the atmosphere was quiet and serene despite all the other sites nearby being occupied. We will definitely be coming back!!

Creekside Site #21 @ Buffalo Gap
The best spontaneous trip I’ve had.
I came across this hidden gem by accident. I was supposed to go to other campsite however when we got there we didn’t like the vibe so we found Buffalo on Hipcamp. We made awesome friends, got a massage and they even have a cafe. I loved the history of the place but what I loved the most was the spirit of the place and the staff from Jesse, to Barbara and Sean. I can’t wait to come back !

Creekside Site #16 @ Buffalo Gap
Great quiet summer campground
Quiet campground in a great West Virginia spot. Great Lake with kayaks and a dock. Has a cute cafe, gymnasium, and toilet/shower facilities. A bit buggy (gnats not mosquitos) because of all the freshwater nearby! Could use some more signage, some places were hard to find. Has one or two bars of cellular service.

Lakeview Site #3 @ Buffalo Gap
This is our second time coming to this camp and we love it incredibly. The toilets are veryyyyy clean, the lake is wonderful, the weather is very nice. We highly recommend it.

Lakeview Site #7 @ Buffalo Gap
Friendly atmosphere and beautiful view. The swimming pond and beach was a hit with the kids.
