The roosters will crow at sunrise. Esther Hobart Morris, the resident livestock guardian dog, will bark to prevent coyotes, foxes, etc. from dining on chicken. You will step in manure. Keep an eye to the sky to spot American kestrels, Northern harriers, Short-eared owls, and other raptors. Melissahof is located five miles from Lander, Wyoming. Learn what's going on in the area at www.windriver.org and www.landerpresents.com .The Farmyard is in the thick of Melissahof activity. The free-range chickens will inspect your rig. The farm dogs will ask for belly rubs. The easily accessible parking is within reach of a potable water hydrant and an electrical plug for your camper. And, you'll be front row for the sunset spectacular over the Wind River Range.

Melissahof Farmyard

Views all around!!!!

A top notch setting. Beautiful sunrise and sunset view Nice walk on the property. Fresh chicken eggs for breakfast.. I've stayed at a dozen hip camps in the past few years. And this one rate tops for me. Melissa was helpful and accommodating. The Surrounding views were phenomenal.

Melissahof Farmyard

This stay on Melissa’s farm was a gem. Being greeted by Esther was the best and Melissa is both welcoming and Inspiring. Her farm is a treat to wake up to! I recommend to everyone.
