HIDING IN THE MIDDLE OF EVERYWHERE! Pure. Unadulterated. WILD. 104 very private acres, securely sandwiched between a National Park Nature Reserve and State Forest. On a dead end road. No agriculture or farms upstream, only one other like-minded property owner. Secluded, but hiding smack bang in the middle of everywhere! From vertiginous sandstone cliffs on which epipetrics cling tight, right through to palm-filled rainforests, and with two quite different creek systems (including a monster waterfall), you'll be spoiled for things to do and places to explore - without even leaving the property! HISTORY This land is Gumbaynggirr land. Please be particularly mindful of our First Nation's long presence on this land. In the 1800's, white men came seeking Red Cedar, closely followed by settlers having a go at dairying; though logging has remained this area's mainstay. This special property, despite last being selectively logged about 50 years ago, hosts many huge old-growth trees remaining steadfast for your discovery and wonder. And many more are continuing to grow out too. About 35 years ago about nine of this property's eastern-most 104 acres became part of a far larger nashi pear orchard which filled much of the flats of this top end of the valley that you see today. Ultimately they failed to set good commercial fruit, and the rootstocks took over. You can see remnant rows of these trees just south of the property, from along the road. (Beware though - they have spikes that could puncture Caterpillar tracks!) MORE RECENTLY extensive lantana control efforts have been undertaken as we now move into revegetating with native species and implementing a permaculture plan. Today the property is registered with Land For Wildlife and hosts a very wide mix of native vegetation communities. ACTIVITIES Bird watch. Climb. Abseil. Photograph wildflowers. Paint. Swim. In the next valley there's even gold to be found. Explore trails by mountain bike. Whale watch. Surf. Learn SCUBA. Go beach-combing. Catch a mudcrab. Go whitewater river rafting. Seven acres mixed forest and lawn alongside Spicketts Creek which is excellent for swimming in with a waterfall and a diving board. The birds are amazing here - you'll be woken by kookaburras. Extensive State Forests are adjacent to the property so there are lots of walks. Motorbikes can be stored here although not ridden on the property itself. We offer 12 sites for campers, mainly well grassed with beautiful views and varying degrees of privacy. Toilet and cold shower available. The 400m gravel driveway has speed bumps and is not normally suitable for 2WDs that are towing vehicles or front WD motor homes. Certain sites may also not be suitable for rear wheel 2wd motorhomes. Caravans up to 6m with 4WD cars OK. Camper trailers OK with AWD. Sites will be allocated on arrival depending on weather conditions. All campers have access to the same swimming hole and creek. 3 fresh water supply taps. Long drop "loo with a view" is 140m from the creek. Cold shower at the creek. Up to 2 small and medium dogs up to 20 kg Dogs Ok but Male dogs under 3 yrs old must be desexed and all dogs on leashes within 25 metres of house or as otherwise requested.

We stayed at this campsite recently and were absolutely blown away by the stunning location—nestled in nature with breathtaking views all around. The facilities were spotless and clearly well-maintained, which made our stay really comfortable. It’s obvious that a lot of care goes into keeping the site in top condition. Unfortunately, we had to cut our trip short due to some unexpected storms rolling in. It was disappointing to leave early, but we’ll definitely be back to experience it properly when the weather’s is on our side.

Stayed at Oasis of Hope for 3 nights on an unpowered site with an offroad caravan and 🐕 Was a fantastic location with beautiful creek and awesome facilities including toliets, hot showers, laundry and camp kitchen Went for a 7km drive to Coramba Pub which was great. Attempted to do the creek/waterfall walk however this was extremely difficult with no sign posts or obvious trails. Was disappointing.

As someone who has stayed in various HipCamps across NSW and QLD, this would have to be one of the most unique. We experienced a beautiful drive to the property and were greeted promptly by Rod who helped us park and settle in nicely. We were encouraged to view the private waterfall (with an infinity pool overlooking the valley)… and wow, this was an absolutely stunning experience. Overall it was peaceful, immersed in nature, with no troubles. Thanks Rod - much appreciated

Nice pretty space but quite over priced. You kinda go to places like this to not be set up close to other campsites, we did receive an email a day before saying that it’s meant to be two campsites deep on either side of the road which made us nervous. Perhaps you can mention this so people know what they are booking before they book. Highly recommend setting up on the bush side if you like all day sun, like us, made it a lot warmer in the morning. Creek was great we went rock hopping all the way to the end, the waterfall is hard to get to and only one of the two adults could make it there given the risk of the last climb. Made for a great activity. Overall good and would recommend to others particularly as it’s dog friendly 🙂

We camped in a camper trailer and thoroughly enjoyed the beautifully kept grounds and very comfortable bathroom. The creek and wood fire barbecue were also highlights (however i had to spend 45 minutes cleaning the barbecue before we could use it). One thing I would warn future travellers (and we spoke with the camp hosts) but if travelling to Oasis from Dorrigo - DO NOT trust google maps “fastest” route along Corfes road. Corfes road is impassible (its been gated off but we were told by camp owners its barely walkable for at least the last few years). We hope the hosts make this information available to other guests if they have the done so already. If travelling from Dorrigo or inland region you need to go the less direct way via Coramba.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Oasis of Hope! The campsite is stunning—peaceful, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by nature. The amenities were excellent, and there was so much to explore in the area. We especially loved the creek walk and swimming holes—they were a real highlight. The host was incredibly communicative and helpful throughout our stay. We couldn’t recommend this place more highly and will definitely be coming back!

Wayper Creek flows though the property, and there are manicured lawns, a large toilet and shower block with hot showers, a caravan dump point, a large BBQ shelter, firepit, and lots of lovely spots to enjoy the plethora of wildlife. During holiday season we have a second campsite opened, which has lovely amenities, too. We regularly have abseilers come down our creek, as a set of 7 waterfalls is only a 60-minute hike through the creek away. It is a stunning place for relaxation. Pets are welcome too.

There is no 2WD access. 4WD only. We offer beautiful river camping. Enjoy the company of platypus, turtles extensive bird life, reptiles, native flora and fauna. Spend your time swimming, river exploring & bush walking - all in total privacy. There is a pit toilet but you're welcome to bring your own amenities. Pets are welcome. Phone reception is limited. There is no Telstra signal, only Optus. Campsites are not allocated, you can choose wherever you would like to set up. We have 60 acres with the Blicks river running along the bottom end of the property. (our home is at the opposite end of the acreage so you will have your own space). Never Never Park is a Sub-Tropical Rainforest property which borders the ancient Gondwana World Heritage National Park on 2 sides including along Coopernook creek. Located half an hours drive Northeast of Dorrigo and 1 hour West of Coffs Harbour (via Eastern Dorrigo Way) in the beautiful Bellingen Shire, surrounded by various National Parks with 4WD tracks, crystal clear creeks, waterfalls, cascades, swimming holes and picnic areas. The property is 400 acres featuring spring fed mountain streams, cascades and waterfalls that run through its central gorge. First surveyed in 1906 and logged in the days of bullocks and hand saws, remnants of a bygone era remain including the “Jack Feeney Memorial Giant Tallowwood Tree”, a Champion Tree of Australia listed in the National Register of Big Trees. It’s over 50m tall, more than 1000 years old, and was around long before Captain Cook reached our shores. The landscape starts in dense Sub-Tropical Rainforest opening up to lush green pastures overlooking the amazing views to the west showcasing hedge-rowed rolling hillsides and 1600m high mountain range towards Marengo. The local fauna is amazing and quite rare, featuring the locals of the Gondwana Rainforests, Koala’s, Wallabies, Paddy Melons, Lyre Birds, Satin Bower Birds, Glossy Black Cockatoo’s, King parrots, Crimson Rosella’s, Wedgetail Eagles, Catbirds, Riflebirds, Fairy wrens, Diamond pythons, Water dragons, Giant Panda snails, Glow Worms, Fire Flys and many more… including our Horses, Cows, Chooks and Bees. Similarly, the flora is very diverse including Native Tall Hardwoods, various types of Palms and tree ferns, Rainforest and flowering Trees, Vines, flowering grasses, Stag Elk horns and other epiphytes, Crows nests, Mosses, Orchids and more. A magical land that time forgot - Tranquil and Peaceful.
