    I absolutely loved my stay at Yarrawin! Ian & Bobbie were so welcoming. The campsite was beautiful, complete with fire set ready to go & firewood neatly stacked nearby. The creek was so clear & fresh & so lovely to swim in. Wildlife all around & complete relaxation. I would most definitely recommend this site, great for a solo traveller or family. 10/10

    We had a great weekend at Georgia and Alex's property. We camped at creekside camp number 1. Alex had recently mowed the camp site and there was a pile of firewood at the firepit. We had the entire property to ourselves and it was the perfect spot to disconnect for us and our two young daughters. Alex was responsive and super helpful especially considering they had very recently had a new baby. The swimming hole was beautiful also.

    Thank you Bruce! Our 2 night, mid week stay at Riverside #1 was just what the doctor ordered. Peace, quiet and tranquility. If you want to wake to the sound of the river, mist on the mountain and the braying of cattle then a visit to this gem is a must. Cannot recommend highly enough for those seeking to reset.

    It was such a fun weekend away. We walked 1km for a 2.5km float down the river. We saw turtles 🐢 and kangaroos 🦘 and wallabies and cows 🐄 and horses 🐴 . Ian delivered us more wood when he saw we were running out with all our camp cooking. He also leant us another lilo when I punctured one of ours going over the rapids. Bobbie’s brownies are delicious. The horses keep you up at night with their chomping of the grass near your camp, but that’s ok, because the stars are so big out there, it would be a bummer to sleep through it.

    We concur with previous comments. Beautiful setting, private and very peaceful. The brownies went down very well! Ian and Bobbie were very friendly. Would not recommend this site if very heavy rain was due as it's possible to get stranded at the site if the creek crossings get too deep. We were lucky, we survived!

    Yarrawin Hipcamp at Argents Hill was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the most stunning countryside, surrounded by rolling hills, this Hipcamp exceeded every expectation. We stayed at the First Crossing swimming hole. It was pure bliss. The property is dotted with private campsites all with their own swimming holes, each as picturesque as the last, Ian & Bobbie are truly exceptional hosts. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and felt right at home. They genuinely care about making sure their guests have the best experience possible, offering plenty of helpful information about the farm and the surrounding area. The hospitality was second to none. On arrival, we were treated to Bobbie’s famous family recipe brownies. They are absolutely delicious! We stayed for 5 nights, and we honestly didn’t want to leave. The farm’s beauty is hard to capture in photos & even more breathtaking in person. The stunning landscape took our breath away. We also loved how easy it was to get in & out of the property. We brought our 22ft caravan with no trouble at all. The swimming holes were incredible, and the water was just perfect for a refreshing dip. Having stayed at several Hipcamps before, we can confidently say that Ian and Bobbie’s property, combined with their warm hospitality, has been our absolute favorite. Thank you both for such an unforgettable experience you truly are wonderful people, & we can’t wait to return soon. Steve & Tam

    Beautiful location with different water depths and sites to suit all. Friendly cows and horses. Just really relaxed. The welcome brownies are worth a visit alone. Be aware the track down to the river flat has some sizable swales that could cause issues for vehicles with low clearance. Our old girl (caravan) did scrap a little bit managed. Gravel Road for last few ks is in good condition. If you want a place you can't help but relax this is where you can find it.

    Lee and Mike’s little piece of heaven was our home for four days camping and we absolutely loved it! It’s easy to find, close to town and has plenty of room so we aren’t all on top of each other, was great! Plenty of fishing, relaxing and lazing in the river! Such a perfect place. Teddy the resident dog was a bit of a legend too. We will definitely be back!!!!

Not far from home allowed us to quickly head how for an hour and feed horses etc. A little work to level it up a bit and some regular mowing would make it a great place to go back ...... Col was very welcoming though offering water to fill our tanks on the way in, and exiting if we wanted it

    Absolutely loved our 4 days at Yarrawin. Ian and Bobbie were nothing but incredibly welcoming and even greeted us with home baked Brownies. What a treat! We had kangaroos hoping round our camp and even saw turtles and fish. Lots of bird life like Black cockatoos, kookaburras and even Kingfisher. Great spot to sit back and relax with a swim in your very own waterhole or sit by the fire reading a book. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend.

    100 acre farm of mixed native bush and orchard plantings, with a mixture of secluded camp areas for campers with their own amenities and sites with facilities. The Woodland Lakeside campsite has a single compost toilet, and the Woodland Ridgetop sites share a camp kitchen with compost toilets and hot showers. We have two beautiful dams that are great for kayaking and swimming, and creek frontage where you can fish. Beautiful views of Yarrahapinni Mountain to the east and hills out to the west. There are 40 acres of bushland to go walkabout. Geese and ducks free range the property and feeding time visits can be arranged. We are just 1.5km of single track gravel road to the Pacific Highway with good access for all types of vehicles. There is a choice of private campsites either by the dam or the creek with no other campers in sight! We also have a multi site area at the Woodland Ridgetop with a camp kitchen, compost toilets and showers. This will be available to be booked as a large group area or as 3 individual sites. Later in 2024 we will also have beautiful glamping bell tent sites available. Drinking water (tank water) is available from an outdoor tap at the farmhouse, as long as we have had sufficient rainfall. Please check in advance if you require water. Campers MUST have their own self contained amenities for the Creek Camp, and the 2 Parking Sites, and leave no trace. There is a toilet dump point for chemical toilets in Macksville, 10 mins away. All he sites are dog friendly as long as all dog poo is cleared up. 20 mins to Scotts Head and Grassy Head beaches and Yarrahapinni National Park. State Forest on the doorstep great for mountain bikes, and with motorbike trails heading out to the west. The farm is 5 minutes from the Eungai Buffallo Farm cafe. There is also farm produce available for sale - fresh eggs for breakfast!

A 150-acre working farm with a stunning outlook over the saltwater Maria River (with a rustic boat ramp and waterway running into the Hastings River). Located on the Mid North Coast NSW, 4kms off the Pacific Highway, and a quick 13/15-minute drive to the holiday township of Port Macquarie. Port Macquarie is known for its beautiful beaches, coastal scenery and walks, koala hospital, and local strawberry and tomato picking. Bernard and Susan are custodians of the farm, primarily using the land for poultry (egg), pig, and goat farming. They are transitioning to an off-grid and eco-friendly lifestyle for their retirement. The Hatch Farm is home to many animals, most of whom are rescues - including border collies, cavalier king charles spaniels, chickens, ducks, pigs, sheep, goats, miniature horses, cows, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs. There is plenty to do and see around the farm from complete relaxation, interacting with the friendly animals (there is usually a variety of babies to cuddle!), to casting a line or launching your boat from the rustic boat ramp. Please note that all animal interactions are self-led (including our animal nursery), and children must be supervised by their parents/carers.     Yarrawin is 680 acre cattle farm and hardwood timber plantation in the heart of the Nambucca Valley, offering scenic, secluded , private campsites with their own swimming hole and a river gravel beach on 3km of beautiful double river frontage. Camping options include river side camps, the Shack and riverside camp and a large secluded valley. Each campsite is separate from the others, giving guests privacy and exclusive use of the swimming hole (except Chinamans Valley) at their site. All riverside sites offer a natural gravel beach entry into the water. There are no amenities here, campers will need to be self contained and leave no trace. Every site has a fire pit which must be used for campfires. If you want to use your own it must be off the ground. Only sand mats or similar, NO TARPS, to be set up on the grassed areas to preserve the grass. Free firewood and fire pit set up for the first night, IF YOU STAY TWO NIGHTS OR MORE. Firewood $20/ night after that (CASH ONLY PLEASE), except when camping at Chinamans Valley where you collect your own free firewood for each night. Beautiful drinking rain water is available in a 20lt Jerry can if required on arrival. Bird lovers can enjoy watching the various bird varieties, as well as ducks. Animals include wallabies, goannas, deer and fish as well as cattle and stock horses. Fishing is okay but it is STRICTLY catch and release ONLY. There are many places to go bushwalking, either following the river or heading up the valleys or hiking up the hills through the trees. The property is just 10kms from the convenience of Bowraville, a historic township with a supermarket, folk museum, a war museum, a historic theatre, and other historic buildings. Nambucca Heads and the beautiful surrounding beaches are just 27kms east and Coffs Harbour 80kms away. Please note this is a working farm, so there will be cattle and stock horses on the property that may approach your campsite.
