1 night at Bundilla River Camp

Lovely well secluded and quiet camp, marked sites, soft green grass, partly shaded, away from noise.

Weekend Trip to Vallis Oakes

Huge grassy camping area with complete privacy. We swam in the crystal clear river all day and had more than enough room on the mowed areas for cricket and soccer practice. There is chopped wood from the stall for a fire each afternoon. The cows and calves came and said hello each morning which the kids thought was pretty cool too. Lovely hosts we will definitely be back again.

This place is stunning! Tranquility of fresh running river over small rapids in a farm setting. Hosts (and Cheryl’s brother) were quick to answer questions. Wood for fire at a very economical cost. New pit toilets were the Gucci of all loos. Will definitely be returning and as a single 59 year woman, I felt safe and comfortable in this amazing location 🙏

The spot was beautiful! We had young kids and a dog with us, the kids loved seeing the cows and being able to go down to the lake, the toilet and showers were the cleanest I’ve ever seen out camping! We chose a weekend where it rained quite abit but was still such a beautiful spot! Would come back again (campsites aren’t ontop of each other, couldn’t even see the other campsites from our spot)

Everything about this place was amazing it is some of the most gorgeous country we have visited. The camp spot (Red Camp) which we had all to ourselves had been slashed with green grass right on one of the clearest water holes I have swum in. Communication with the host was on point. In short one of our favourite Hipcamps so far. definitely be back real soon.

Fantastic spot, I don’t think any campers would be disappointed. We stayed for 7 nights at Middle Ridge.

Sammy & his wife were super star hosts. Their property is beautiful. It backs onto forests, the water running through is the clearest of clear for glorious swimming & watching of the little turtles. Black cockatoos, white cockatoos, Willy wagtails - the place is paradise.

Lovely big sites next to the river. We had site 3 and it was great. Lots of shade (not great for solar) to sit around in and some trees for a hammock. The toilets were clean.

Absolutely loved this place. Rolling hills with a beautiful sunset, sitting around a campfire, exactly what we were looking for! Really well kept property, including facilities. Unfortunately had to leave early due to cyclone Alfred, but will be back at the first chance we get!

All communication with Cheryl was fantastic and the directions were easy, the property is well maintained and the drop toilet block was clean and attended to daily. Will definitely book again.

Amazing place to be, best view, everyone was friendly, sites were spacious. Bring very long hoses and power cables, especially if you're in powered site #1. We were lucky and had clear skies, no moon and the stars were amazing.

We stayed in the Powered sites 4 which was amazing. We only had a quick visit but definately will be back to spend more time at this beautiful place.

We loved our camp there. We had views to the east for a sunrise and we would turn our camp chairs around at end of day and watch sunset over the mountains to the west. Absolutely beautiful! Sites were grassed and mowed. Amenities were clean and close by. Very convenient to have. The lake was a short walk down the road from our site. Our doggy loved this and launched himself off the jetty and just swam to his hearts content. Thoroughly recommend and will be returning.

One of the most magical spots since we started our trip. So peaceful and well looked after. We all- including the dogs loved swimming in the river everyday. This is a true gem and was hard to leave!
