We love the great outdoors and especially enjoy this ‘bottom paddock’ because of all the trees and the bird life. The dam gives the space a cool feel and a place for dogs to swim and retrieve.

    Located on the edge of Tamworth, we are a quiet and tranquil place to stay with good facilities, plenty of space, and lots of wildlife. Birds are here in abundance and our sunrise and especially our sunsets are to be seen to be believed. Campers have access to toilets, hot showers, camp kitchen and power (if booking a powered site). We're dog friendly too! We are a working farm with cattle and horses. We are close to all that Tamworth and surrounds have to offer, a safe and friendly base camp for your travels in the area, or equally as ideal as an easy stopover on your way through. We are only 10-15 minutes to town, and near to the local IGA, pharmacy, butcher, bottle shop, and Taven and a Hotel

    Great location for Tamworth Country Music Festival, walk or cycle into Tamworth CBD. 20 acres on the Peel River. Campsites are not on the river about a 400m walk to the river via a laneway. We have a couple of horses, a few chooks and lots of avian wildlife live on the property. Peaceful and with abundant trees. Hot water shower, flushing toilet and 10 amp power available. Good access for caravans and all types of vehicles. Dogs or other pets not accepted. No campfires, total fire bans often in place here.

    Great location to spend 4 nights away close to Tamworth but still having a country farm stay. Very easy access towing a van . Fantastic facilities swimming pool , new bathroom and separate toilets. Very clear instructions from Jenni and also quick to reply. Cant wait to return .

    What a great place Rick was super on the ball with communication and Scotty on-site was friendly and informative. For the price we couldn’t go wrong. Showers, toilet and camp fires with plenty of firewood. Would definitely stay again in future. We also had the whole place to ourselves. Go check them out 👍🏽

    Beautiful and tranquil. Amazing views of the sunsetting over farmlands and the distant mountains. Plenty of space to camp by the dam. Susie was welcoming and ensured we had what we needed. Fire pit provided with complementary fire wood. Toilet neat and clean.

    Highly recommend staying here. The hosts caretaker came to make sure all was ok. Instructions were very clear. The quiet area made it so easy to sleep. Toilets were clean. I intend on dropping in again.

    Oakey Farm was a great place to base out of whilst getting amongst the music festival. The clean and modern shower were definitely a plus as was the pool to cool off on those hot January days. The ground on our camp site was very hard/rocky so would bring a small drill next time or very sturdy pegs. John and Jenny were very accommodating. Overall, highly recommended 👌

    We both loved our recent stay with Christine and Dave. We loved it so much we will certainly stay again when we head back that way again hopefully in the future. Very quiet peaceful and relaxing spot nice mowed green grassy areas being only a short distance to Tamworth roughly 2km. Bird life was beautiful toilet shower was nice and close to us all and very clean. Certainly home away from home.Thank you so much again for our stay. Kindest regards Tracey and Rob.
