IMPORTANT: STRICTLY NO CHECK-INS AFTER DARK
7pm in the summer is the latest... NO EXCEPTIONS.
I also have a strict no-noise after 9pm policy.
I offer a safe environment to rest for the night or stay for a few and enjoy all that the local area has to offer. Located off the highway, some road noise may be heard. Only 10 minutes from amazing beach fishing at Durras and beautiful Long Beach known for its kayaking and paddle boarding.
There is so much to see and do. Climb Pigeon House Mountain or cruise on the Merinda up the Nelligen River over a seafood lunch...you will not be disappointed.
Upon arrival, you will be able to choose a spot on the property that you wish to set up. All campers must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet and take all waste when they go. Strictly no 'digging a hole.'
When booking please note that one site is big enough for your van or tent, the extras button is for extra guest/children in your tent or van.
If you have guests with another tent or van and vehicle they need to book their own site
The pubs and clubs are a near convenience, or you can just kick back by your own pit fire and enjoy the stars in the safety of The Hundred Acre Woods.
Campfires are permitted in a designated area when restrictions aren't in place, plenty of free wood to gather, please do not bring an axe or chainsaw to cut down my trees.

Cape Meringo is a 200 acre, wild, coastal property just south of Moruya, adjacent to Eurobodalla National Park, with kilometres of frontage onto the Meringo Lagoon and an easy walk to two, magnificent, isolated beaches. The property is roughly four hours south of Sydney and two hours east of Canberra. There are no facilities for campers on the property so all visitors must be fully self contained, including with their own toilets and all waste must be taken away. Cape Meringo is accessible by 2WD but is more suitable to campers with a 4WD (especially if there's been wet weather). This is bush camping. Your sites are surrounded by old growth forest so if you're looking for big water views or direct water frontage this may not be the property for you. Dog friendly. A 67-acre bush property surrounded by forest, with several peaceful camping sites for self-contained campers. The area is abundant with flora and fauna, and is thankfully recovering well after the bushfires of December 2019.
Your host is Loretta Parsley, a locally known elder and custodian of the Walbunja country and Yuin people, and she will share her love of the area and local history with you. She is also an artist and offers Aboriginal Art Classes and Boomerang Design Workshops - book one during your stay for an enriching cultural experience.
The nearest beach to the property is Depot Beach, a 10-minute drive away, a beautiful cove with some lovely nearby bush and coast walks through the Murramarang National Park. The nearest river swimming is Shallow Crossing, with crystal clear waters, also just 10 minutes away. There are also some well-established bushwalks on the property if you aren't wanting to venture out.
Clyde River Berry Farm is on the way to Shallow Crossing, a great day out for the kids, where you can pick your own berries (when in season) and have their berry ice cream. Plus the famous East Lynne Pie Shop is not far away - try their apple pies!
Batemans Bay is also just a 15-minute drive south, the closest large township for supplies, cafes, restaurants and the beautiful Clyde River entrance.

Your campsite is surrounded by beautiful red gum trees. It features a shared bush shelter complete with a BBQ, solar powered lighting, and tables for meals. You will also have access to simple amenities, that use spring-fed dam water. Campers will need to bring their own drinking water.
This site is on a working family-owned and run farm currently running sheep. It has long been a special gathering place for family and friends for more than 40 years, and is now available on Hipcamp. The camp also sits on the famous Bingi Dreaming Track, a beautiful coastal walk that stretches from Congo Beach to Tuross Head.
Moruya is the closest town, a 15-minute drive away. Sydney is a four-hour drive, and Canberra a two-and-a-half hour drive. Meringo is located on the lands of the Yuin people, to whom we pay our respects.
