The Shed At Tarlo

Want some space to breathe and relax away from everybody else by a permanent river close to a major regional town?

Just 15 minutes from Goulburn, on the Southern Tablelands of NSW, our farm in Tarlo has 40 hectares of fields, bushland and river to enjoy and explore. With 2 km of Tarlo River access, extensive views of Tarlo Gap and Tarlo Hill, 5 km of paths and tracks, 4 picnic areas, swimming holes and more you can have your own rural experience for an afternoon, day or weekend.

We have renovated a historic shed overlooking the river and valley with landscaped gardens and stairs down to the picnic area by the river where you can stay or host your own occasion such as a BBQ, party, conference or wedding (separate fees apply).

Ghost Gums at Bungonia

Bush property of 10 hectares with a private secluded camp area. Only one group at a time so the space is all yours, please let me know of any special requests. Includes drop toilet (BYO toilet paper) and plenty of firewood so please don't cut down trees.  

2WD access and access for caravans, camper trailers, camper vans. Wouldn't recommend for large motorhomes. Campfires permitted in designated areas, help yourself to the firewood (for use on property only). 

Also bring your own drinking water but there is non-drinking water available. There's lots of native wildlife on the property so dogs by request only as I want to keep them both safe. 

There are two shelter areas near the shed & container you can use. 

Bungonia National Park and Marulan Township are well worth a look.

The End of the Road

We have owned this property for nearly forty years and enjoyed it as youngsters and still do. Now we welcome others to see what we have treasured. Lovely bush walks, bike tracks, 4x4 trails, wildlife and the sounds of nature in the trees. Close to Mittagong but far enough to be hidden. Near by are more bush walks, old train line and mini shopping centre with a couple of food outlets. Nothing fancy but essentials covered.

Dharawal Camp

Dharawal Camp offers all the benefits of glamping. Enjoy a peaceful night's rest in your tent/vehicle, then hop out of bed and enjoy the peaceful surrounds of the cabin with access to a kitchen area supplying fresh rainwater. With the secluded bush surroundings and the quiet, it's hard to believe you're only an hour away from Sydney.

You might even see a Koala

There is strictly no accomodation in the Cabin.

The camp features a camping toilet and bathing facilities, a kitchen washing area, a recreation space and dining table when the weather is bad. All you need to do is roll out your swag.
Campers are encouraged to take their rubbish with them.

There is access to power for campervans/caravans.

Warm your toes at the outdoor fireplace whilst you chat with friends. (Please bring own firewood).
You will be a 10 minute drive from the beautiful Dharawal National Park which has wonderful swimming holes and bush walks.

The site is 15 minutes drive from Campbelltown, which offers all amenities of a large metropolitan city.

Weathertop

Our property is located in Canyonleigh in the Southern Highlands region of NSW. 

We have a bush track on the property where you can enjoy some beautiful walking and the roads surrounding the property are quiet and great for those who enjoy their mountain bike riding.

Bring a fishing rod and try your luck in the dam. Please note this is catch and release fishing only.

Enjoy some excellent wildlife watching on the property and relax around your campfire in the evenings and gaze up at the stars. 

Pets are welcome.

There is a bunch of firewood around the property that Damien said is available to use to build our own fire.

Silky Oaks Flower Farm

Silky Oaks is one of Australia’s largest private collections of Native

Australian plants. Set on 30 acres; there is 3 lakes, manicured gardens, a cut-flower plantation, rainforest, and orchard to wander.

 Our Glamping Van's are Set direct on lakefront and our BYO camp spots are in the flower plantation.

Oakdale is a lovely rural area; you will pass cow paddocks, mountains and beautiful country vistas on your drive to the property. The area is a mix of houses, hobby farmers, homes on acreage, equestrian centres, produce growers and National Park.

There is a glorious look-out in the National Park overlooking the Warragamba dam. Some days it is swept with clouds; enveloping you into the majestic heavens. It’s an easy ten min drive away. There is local towns 15mins drive for eating out and getting coffee.
