Great spot. Very clean close to the beach and helpful staff. Amenities are excellent I stayed in a powered campsite the area was tidy and level for an easy set up of my camper trailer. 10 minute walk to the beach through great scenery tracks.

I spent one night here whilst doing the Tomaree Coastal Walk and I enjoyed my stay! Staff were nice, clean bathrooms, easy access to the beach and good options at the nearby restaurant.

There were 4 powered sites remained unoccupied but we were given a spot next to another caravan with kids. I didn't understand the logic behind.

Great location, lovely and clean and great amenities. Easy late check in, safe environment.
Only downside was our site was on a bit of a hill, but having only booked less than a week prior we can’t complain as it was full when we arrived!

We really enjoyed our caravan stay here. The site was good with power and water and it was level.
The pool is large and clean. There are very good cooking facilities. The toilets and showers are good and have hot water. The free WiFi worked well. And the lake is 1 minute's walk.
There are lots of birds which was a nice change for us.
We were there during the week just after summer school hols so it was quite peaceful.

Clean and tidy. Lots of thoughtful finishing touches like artistic paintings on amenities block and sheds. Towels and eco soap products in ensuite. So close to beautiful patrolled beach.

It has everything we want, convenient to all the facilities, beach. My son loved the onsite waterpark and jumping mat, tennis court and other activities. He spent a lot of time with the other kids. Only regret was the broken bicycle hire service. But the kids club made up for it.

The eco sites were great for camping and the toilet/shower blocks at that end were well kept and clean. The camp kitchen was also stocked with dish soap, fridges, toasters, microwaves and grill plates. The only down side to our trip personally was that it was very busy due to school holidays and the long weekend. The noise levels were quite high because of this even after the imposed quiet time of 10pm. But otherwise it’s a fantastic location. Very family friendly if that is what you are looking for.

Great family camping spot, even has a barista making coffee in the morning and a food truck making chips for lunch. Nice walk around the lake as well.

The kids had a blast. Plenty to do for them and it was a nice little getaway. Great bathroom and laundry facilities. The pool is a bit small but good as it wasn’t too deep for the younger kids.

Best campgrounds I’ve stayed at, the lake was so beautiful and dog friendly. Had all the facilities even cutlery in the kitchen. The pool was also great. Will definitely be back again.

Great park, with great access to Lake Macquarie. Only negative was our site #90 was the worst site I have ever had to put a van in. The road was no more then 2 metres and there was a 3 foot light post on the right corner of the site. So made it impossible to reverse a van into. Lucky we had no one next to us on the right side so I could use their site to reverse into it. Who ever designed that light for a van park should be sacked. Other then that it was a good park.
