Please Note Dogs must be on a lead at all times and you must clean up after them , And NO pets on the beds There are plenty of places and thing to go see and do, such as exploring the Bunyas & National Parks, dams, lakes, The Rail Trail and there are also some lovely wine properties near by. The little town has an IGA and most things you will need, we have animals on the property horses and 9 border collies, so if you are an animal lover you will love it here. Gypsy cabin is a boutique off grid cabin usually reserved for family and friends now available to hire to the public for couples, small families and campers. The cabin is situated privately on our hobby farm with the company of cows, chickens, dogs and ponies, dogs are permitted upon request. The cabin is cosy and self contained, it is a single bedroom, single bathroom, with walk in shower, toilet and filtered drinking water at the vanity sink. It also has a convenient kettle, toaster and BBQ area, the cabin has a queen bed but we can include a mattress for the floor for children, tents and caravans are also welcome in the guest paddocks. We have a whole beautiful valley with crystal clear spring-fed creeks, patches of rain forest and hillsides covered in grass-trees backing onto Wrattens State Forest. There's 1,375 acres of land - the boundaries of our property are the ridges of the mountains that encircle us, and many rare species abound here. This is a dog and horse friendly property but no pets allowed in the cabin. There is paralysis tick in this region - so we'd recommend treating any animal before you come and frequent checks while you're here. No mobile phone coverage at the cabin, but there is a hill you can drive (or walk) up on the property to get phone signal if needed and we have a landline phone in our house which can be used in emergencies.

'Crystal Waters Cabin' is one of the original dwellings built on the Crystal Waters Eco Village community, it was built back in 1980 in the 'hippie commune' days, but Crystal Waters has since evolved into a thriving 'Eco-Village' community. The Cabin gradually fell into a state of disrepair in the 2000's but has now been lovingly restored and renovated to both maintain its original rustic character while also incorporating all of the modern comforts and conveniences. The Cabin is one large studio style room that is divided into two separate spaces - combined kitchen/dining and bedroom/lounge. There is one queen bed and a comfy pull out sofa bed that is suitable for up to two young children as long as they don't mind sharing! The Cabin has a full cook's kitchen including fridge, gas stove and oven and dishwasher. There is a large north facing deck and a covered patio that opens out onto a large flat paddock, surrounded on all sides by pristine native forest. The Cabin has a beautiful outdoor bathroom with instant gas hot water, the shower looks out into the lush gardens but also affords total privacy. Crystal Waters is the perfect place to take a break from technology, having little or no mobile phone service on the property, however, with the flick of a switch you have wifi in the Cabin to use your devices and there is a wall mounted 40 inch flat screen smart TV with Netflix, etc. Crystal Waters is a prolific and thriving wildlife retreat and the Cabin is surrounded by an abundance of native animals and birds. 4WD Recommended - dirt/gravel road and two creek crossings (through the creek bed) to get here. We have a whole beautiful valley with crystal clear spring-fed creeks, patches of rain forest and hillsides covered in grass-trees backing onto Wrattens State Forest. There's 1,375 acres of land - the boundaries of our property are the ridges of the mountains that encircle us, and many rare species abound here. This is a dog and horse friendly property but no pets allowed in the cabin. There is paralysis tick in this region - so we'd recommend treating any animal before you come and frequent checks while you're here. No mobile phone coverage at the cabin, but there is a hill you can drive (or walk) up on the property to get phone signal if needed and we have a landline phone in our house which can be used in emergencies.

Situated on a beautiful 90 acre property in the heart of Queensland's Mary Valley just 1.5 hours drive north of Brisbane & 45 minutes west of Noosa. We have two self-contained cabins as well as plenty room for extra friends and family to camp or park their vans, only can be booked with cabins, (please enquire for details). Fridge BBQ Hot Showers are included in each of the two cabins, also a Queen Bed and Kitchenette. We only allow your booking at one time so it is exclusinve no one else will be there excep you and your group or just your partner. Pets are welcome but not inside the cabins please. There is a concrete Camp fire area in betweene the cabins to enjoy the evening. Please ensure you follow directions to call in advance (24 hrs) to make arrangements. DON'T USE GPS It takes you on the bush tracks. Go 9kl past Kandanga Hotel then go over Doyles Bridge then turn left into Mitchell creek Road. Please note that Porfiri Road (in places) does not do well after heavy rains! Motor-homes cannot make the drive (regardless of the weather) and low profile sedans will struggle - AWD and 4x4 no problems. Vehicles with lift will have no problems. Our farm features bush and cleared areas on undulating hills. We are 100% off grid with fresh drinkable borehole water The campsite has lovely green grass, access to the pool and a picnic table, and fire pit. Compost toilet, hot bush shower and rubbish/recycling facilities. We are a small hobby farm with Bee Hives, Dogs, Cats, Chickens (a few roosters) horses, cows and a couple of pet pigs. We are located just 35 mins from Caloundra and 45 from Maroochydore. We are close to Australia Zoo, Ewen Maddock Dam, Maleny and Glasshouse Mountains. Enjoy mountain walks and cycling. The property has many interesting native birds, animals and trees for you to discover. There are many walking tracks both gentle and steep within the property. Approximately 2 hours from Brisbane CBD. Either stay in our popular cabin for those creature comforts, or camp next to our creek bed areas and enjoy the serenity. There is No cellular service around the camping areas to help you unwind!
