Peach Creek Retreat

5 sites · RVs, Tents6 acres · South Nanango, QLD
Please message me prior to booking as we don't live here, to make sure that we have vacancies. Also if you are making a booking for more than five people, you'll need to do two bookings, so that we don't end up overcrowded. Thank you. If you are looking to get away, put your feet up, switch off and recharge, then this is your perfect spot to enjoy the serenity of farm life with the added mountain views. We are setting things up as we speak and at the moment we have potable bore water, electricity connection, kitchen table and bench outdoor setting, kitchen water tank with fire pit, composting toilet and WiFi. We have two powered caravan sites that can also double up as tent sites. Fires are allowed and there's plenty of free kindling and wood around the place. We have recently got baby cows, so you are welcome to help us bottle feed them as they love feeding time! We have a basic bucket toilet at the moment, as well as a basic camp shower. Please enquire on how to use the shower, otherwise there are shower facilities in town, next to the library. Electricity pole is available to campers behind the shed in the top right corner of the property, when facing the main road. If you need continuous power for your caravan, please book a powered site. Our bore has a solar pump that is rigged up to the water tank at the camp kitchen. Please turn the tap off once you have finished filling up your containers or caravan tanks. Bore water is potable, so can be used for cooking, cleaning, pets, etc. Any cooking implements and tools that you might need during your stay can be provided at request. Dogs are welcome, just please be mindful of our free ranging chickens, which are generally located at the top of the farm, near the big new shed. Please ensure that you are mindful of our neighbours, no loud noises between 9pm and 7am and kindly clean up after yourselves and take your rubbish with you, as we don't have garbage collection at the property. Please do not set up camp around the shed, as this is what we use. Nanango has a lovely vibe. It's Queensland's oldest and friendliest town. There are great playgrounds, swimming pool and cart racing in town, which is only about 10 minutes away from the farm. Kingaroy is about half an hour away. There is a great off roading spot in the forest that is literally up the road from us. According to previous campers it's perfect for beginners. For any other questions, please feel free to contact me. And don't forget to enjoy your stay. :-) it is a lovely spot, with amazing views and DinDin Forest across the road. Our neighbours have horses and sheep too that are curious and friendly. Weekly and monthly rates are available, please contact me to discuss your requirements, thank you.
