The rainforest Treehouse is situated in a rainforest pocket of the Mount Warning Caldera, completely surrounded by lush and vibrant nature and sheltered from the outside world, while being just 2 minutes away from us and the comfy road that will take you to an amazing swimming hole, cafés and the nearby town. Once you enter the Treehouse private drive you will feel yourself being transported into a magical world of gently flowing water, natural light, tall trees, chirping birds, rustling leaves, crickets, and frogs. You will notice the energy shift into the safe embrace of our land, protected by Springbrook Mountain. The location of the Treehouse was chosen by our then young children. We all fell in love with the magnificent camphor laurel tree growing at the edge of the seasonal creek. We all found ourselves drawn to that place, so with the help of our friends and our children we began the project of manifesting a dream into a reality - the dream of living in the tree canopy. As we worked on the Treehouse, the design was constantly changing. The whole family, especially our youngest son, contributed to the manifestation of the dream. During that time we overcame many obstacles and found solutions to build in the tree. It was an adventure, a lot of fun and we learnt a lot. It became a dwelling for our kids for a period of time, until they grew up and left to conquer the big wide world. Now it is here for you to enjoy, to reconnect with your dreams, to dive deep into your childhood playful memories where the world of fantasy and reality merge together. She has found the perfect spot for you so you can immerse yourself in nature in the shade of lovely trees, taking flight with the eagles above Springbrook Mountain, lifting up and rejoicing life. The vibrant tantric red colour of the cabin will fill you up with new energy and freshness. it is supplied with clean, luxurious linen and towels. The daring bathroom allows you to bask in a bubble bath while enjoying your favourite beverage watching the stars. That beautiful experience will be enhance by the symphony of the surrounding nature. The cooking and dining area is set up for your highest comfort and equipped with everything you need. Christmas Creek Cedar Cabin is a Tiny Home in the Scenic Rim. Positioned on a hill above Christmas Creek to take in the views, were you can watch the sun rise over Little Widgee Mountain and the sun set over the mountains to the west. This fully contained cabin is approximately 30 square metres and features a small veranda out the front facing Little Widgee Mountain and Buchanans Fort. Sit back and relax on the bench seat or table and chairs. A larger veranda out the back faces Christmas Creek and the mountains to the west. Relax on the deck chairs and read a book, or sit at the bar and enjoy a drink while watching the wildlife. There’s a table with chairs to enjoy your breakfast or dinner outside.The loft bedroom has a queen bed. There’s reverse cycle air conditioning to keep you comfortable. The kitchen is self contained with a small microwave/oven, a 60 cm ceramic cooktop, a medium size fridge/freezer, a toaster and kettle. The lounge room has a couch, 40 cm TV with DVD player, small table and chairs. There’s no free to air TV channels available. BYO DVD or there’s a small selection available. No Wi- Fi There’s a small firepit and chairs in the yard to enjoy the sun setting over the mountains and stars at night. The cabin is a few minutes drive to the creek where you can go swimming. Relax on the sun lounge listening to the birds sing and Christmas Creek flowing by, or enjoy a Scenic drive or bushwalk in the local area. Christmas Creek Café is just down the road. Phone reception is available at the cabin if you’re with Telstra. The property is 2WD accessible, but I recommend 4WD in wet weather No pets please.

A modest set-up in the hills with choice of a provided caravan, your own small campervan, or tent. Gas hot shower shack with adjacent compost toilet provided in the paddock with a view. There is access to 2 lovely forested walks down to a little creek where you'll find a shady picnic spot to rest and wet your feet. Feel free to pick from the circular communal veggie garden adjacent to the shower. 1.2km down the road is a great shady swimming hole on the large Tuntable Creek, also a great picnic spot and area to explore. There is also a dam here which dogs can swim in close to camping. We are only 5 mins from The Channon Tavern and General Store, with many nearby swimming holes, bush walks, and the infamous Protestors Falls on Terania Ck Rd. Eclectic Nimbin is only 15 mins up a scenic winding road, and Lismore is 25 mins away for all your larger shopping needs. The popular Channon Craft Markets is on every 2nd Sunday of the month.

Riversong - Floating Tree Tent

A beautiful piece of remnant forest on the bank of the Nerang River, with a swimming hole that is second to none. The tree tent is situated in a small forest clearing overlooking the river rapids. The site has a compact outdoor kitchen complete with refrigerator, an outdoor hot shower, a firepit and a separate composting toilet. Sails are rigged above the tent to provide extra shade and shelter. It's private and shady but only a few minutes from the house. The valley is a gem, only 200 odd people live here. If you love the outdoors - either just to chill or to actively recreate - this place is for you. As an outdoor educator, I have worked and played in the valley and surrounds for more than 25 years and I'm still discovering new things to see and do! Advancetown Lake is a short drive away with paddling, sailing and fishing and no power boats or jetskis (Yeeha!!) There is a mountain bike park on the E side of the dam. You can walk from here to Springbrook and Lamington National Parks and the glow worms at Natural Bridge are a night time "must see".
