You will have access to our beautiful peaceful surroundings, with adequate shelter under some lovely big trees park your camper or pitch a swag. We also have a nice running creek that you can take a cooling down soak in or just enjoy watching our many wild life that are present throughout the creek, fish , eels and turtles.
It's truly a very private and relaxing spot to chill out and enjoy camping for a few days or whatever suits your needs while passing the area. Plenty of fantastic swimming holes nearby including Josephine falls and Babinda boulders very popular spots for tourist and the locals.
Site 1 right down on the creek large grass flat space big enough for two families to set up camp. The creek runs around the outside so there are a number of viewing points to see the wildlife mentioned above. A set of solar lights hang over the firepit area allowing for more light while cooking on our wonderful swinging hotplate BBQ.
Site 2 Our newer spot work in progress not so ideal for camper trailers. your situated under our tree line away from the main creek but still with your own small dirt track down to the creek. A smaller paver firepit, plenty fine for sitting around an open fire while watching the stars at night.
So please check by internal message before confirming your booking that way we can confirm a spot while discussing your needs to ensure you have a clear view of your camping area.
Onsite we have our shared outhouse porta toilet which is positioned in the middle of both camping areas for everyone's convenience.

for kayaking and stand up paddle boarding. There is a 360 degree view from the property, with nothing made by man in the way.
When we purchased this property 37 years ago and built our unique home, it was
denuded cattle land, and now we are surrounded by the most beautiful rainforest.
We planted approximately 8000 trees.!
We have 4 sites available all close to the river, and can provide water as well as access to our toilet. We are agile wallaby carers, with the rescued joeys being released back into the forest from here. After a day of kayaking or hiking or exploring the area we also offer a sunset massage (as available ) by a local masseuse who lives on the property. Watch the stars in the night sky at your own campfire.

Hillbillies is located on the southern tablelands near Millaa Millaa, it's a 200ac property with 2kms of pristine Beatrice River frontage. We have approximately 120ac of rainforest with the rest being farmland where we run friendly goats and cattle.
Our campsites are private and located on the banks of the crystal clear Beatrice river and natural springs. Access to these camps are by AWD, 4WD only, camper trailers are fine but not suitable for caravans or campervans or low clearance vehicles.
The camp sites are large and we allow 2 vehicles with camper trailers per site, please contact us if you require more than 2 vehicles on site.
Kids 4 and under are free (no need to include in booking, just let us know they are coming).
Campfires are permitted in designated fire pits only, firewood is available for purchase.
Do not use river stones to build a fireplace, these stones explode when heated and can cause serious injury.
Campers must be fully self-sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities.
We run stock on the property so unfortunately no dogs allowed.
As this is a farm so there will be the usual mooing of cattle, bleating of goats and the odd tractor/quad noise in the distance however the river does drown out a lot of this activity.
The cattle and goats are friendly however we ask that you do not feed them.
Please note that this is the rainforest and as such prone to a lot of rainfall. Please be sure to check the weather forecast before booking sites. All sites are subject to close during heavy rain events. If Hillbillies are required to close the site, a full refund will be issued. Cancellations by camper are per cancelation policy.
The fauna in the area include, but are not limited to, platypus, cassowaries, tree kangaroos, turtles, possums and an abundant of birdlife and reptiles.
We are located in the Millaa Millaa waterfall circuit with Souita Falls 2 km away and several other falls including the famous Millaa Millaa Falls within 20min drive.
