    Bottle Tree Farm is 10 acres situated on top of a slightly sloping hill which overlooks the surrounding mountains, farming crops and hills. We have a very old big bottle tree in the middle of our farm, which is magic. The sunsets are absolutely amazing here, so golden. The rural roads are lovely for an early or late evening walk on. We rent out a fully contained studio as well which is seperate and inside the farm fencing only for booked guests. You will be sharing the paddock with three beautiful friendly horses, roaming at their own pace. In the paddock there is also a little renovated shed turned into a cute outhouse called the Heart Shed. Which is just being finished, soon to be able to be booked. The farm is within a 7 min drive of two IGAs. Plus very close to all the wineries (10 km approx) and it’s delicious food and wines! It’s also the same distance to nearby Bjelke Peterson Dam for water skiing and water sports. Wondai has some gorgeous shops including a wellness shop with a magnesium float tank, antique shops and spiritual shops. There is a dairy museum in Murgon. A dinosaur and fossil museum about to open in Murgon too. Also a visit to the Ration Shed Museum in the Indigenous and alcohol free community of Cherbourg is very educational and really worth a visit and only 10 mins away. It has beautiful indigenous pottery and art too. The area I believe, is a hidden secret.

    The farm at 276 is our newly built container cabin accommodation nestled on our picturesque third-generation farming property of 320 acres. Over the years the paddocks have been used for dairy cattle and peanut growing but currently, we are running beef cattle and growing the odd patch of sunflowers…who doesn’t love sunflowers. The cabin is set up for a couple however, we can accommodate a few extra. We have a single airbed available, or you might like to hire our caravan, with shared cabin facilities. Alternatively, if your friends or family members have their own caravan, they are able to park beside the cabin, with access to power. Please ask for more details if this is of interest to you. We also offer a purpose-built air-conditioned Creative Studio, accommodating six comfortably. Perfect for craft groups, book clubs, painting groups, or family groups. Small kitchenette facilities with a pod coffee machine are also available in this space. Located beside the Studio is an alfresco dining area, which comes alive at night with fairy lights. Send me a message if this area interests you. Aside from the cabin, guests have access to a stunning outdoor space. An eight-seater table, lounge, two lounge chairs, and a Weber Q will enable guests to enjoy the outdoors and the view. Don't forget to bring your binoculars! We'll also let you know which parts of the farm are available for a morning or afternoon stroll. We are located in the quaint town of Proston in the South Burnett, approximately 66 kilometers northwest of Kingaroy and just a 10-minute drive from Lake Boondoomba, a popular playground for watersports, camping, and picnics. The cabin shares a driveway with the main house but is far enough away, and strategically orientated, to ensure privacy and relaxation. You will find it equipped with all you need to embrace country life and enjoy this home away from home.

    Gorgeous acreage up on the Ridge in benarkin. A tiny town with nothing but nature. Be woken by baby cows and goats and fall asleep to peacocks and bird song. Access to power and water for campers. A fully furnished and self contained rustic cabin is also available. Small campfires are allowed as are pets on leads. If you would like to arrive earlier or stay later, please let me know, if there's not another booking that will be OK. Please feel free to wander around the place, just be careful of the male goat in the back paddock"dragon" He can get a bit headbutty at times. If u tickle his beard, he tends to stop. There's also a water spray bottle which he hates. Otherwise all the other animals are very friendly. If u see the cows laying down  they will let you lay next to them I will leave some feed in the cabin so u can feed them.they get very excited about food If you need more firewood there's plenty under the big gumtree in the middle of the yard. Please remember to extinguish fire fully before leaving unattended. You also have the option of pre ordering a home made charcuterie board on arrival. It consists of 2x meats 2x cheese, olives, bell peppers with cheese,2x dips, crackers , seasonal local fruit and vegetables. 2 sizes available - afternoon tea $45 or dinner. $65 It will be freshly made and placed in the fridge in the cabin, or delivered to your site if you are camping.     We spent four days here and throughly enjoyed every minute! The views were spectacular and the sunsets were amazing, it was definitely worth the trip to get here. The site was very well presented and plenty of room for our 15ft caravan, it was lovely to meet Chip the Shetland pony, Ollie the dog and of course the hosts Leacia and Phill who were very obliging, friendly and welcoming ! A lovely part of the world THANK YOU for a wonderful stay 10/10 😊

    My wife and I had a great two nights at the Eagles’ Nest site. Although the weather wasn’t our friend this time, with plenty of rain around, it’s a fantastic location for a quiet getaway. Some friendly farm animals dropped by and the sunrise and views down the valley were amazing when the weather cleared. Leacia and Phill were the perfect hosts. Highly recommended and I can definitely see us coming back again. Thanks guys!

    Possum Bush Retreat is an amazing property, with lots to see and do if you wish. The farm animals wander freely and sometimes come to see you. I was so fortunate to have arrived the day a new miniature horse foal was born and Sharni was so generous in inviting me to have a quick cuddle, she also took me on tour of the property. I was pleasently surprised after reading one reviewer's comments about the campsite being in close proximity to the main house, that you can't see the house at all from the camp site, nor can you hear anything other than the farm animals. I was the only one camping, so I felt like I had the whole world to myself (and the animals, of course). The property is easy to find and is exactly as described, very well maintained, with a lovely, clean dam to swim in and plenty of fire wood in addition to the already prepared camp fire ready to light. I would really encourage others to visit this little peace of paradise.

    Lorikeet’s is the newest site at Hilltop and it was my first time to camp there but went really well. It’s not as high on the hill as the other sites but still has a lovely view overlooking the valley and it was more easily accessible from the main driveway. I found the site secluded enough and it’s well away from the other campers. It feels so remote and can usually get perfect starry night sky views here but only takes 10-15 mins to get to Crows Nest town centre.

    Gorgeous location and very secluded. We loved our stay here. Amazing views and sunsets and quiet. Sites are kept separate so it feels like you are the only ones on the property. Farm fresh eggs were delicious and a short drive to super cute town of Crows Nest. Would definitely recommend.

    We had an great time camping at Eagle’s Nest! If you’re looking for a peaceful spot with stunning views, this place is perfect. The scenery is beautiful, especially at sunrise and sunset, and the whole vibe is super relaxing. The friendly farm animals wander around and make the place feel even more special. It’s a great spot to just chill, enjoy nature, and escape from the busyness of everyday life. Overall, we had a really good experience and would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves quiet, scenic camping with a little extra charm!

    Leacia & her partner (sorry can’t remember his name), we’re so helpful! Their lovely doggy greeted us & so did the ponies! Incredible views…. Yummy chicken eggs…. Cutest town to visit nearby with op shops, books & cute cafes. We got tucked around the corner at Bellbirds nest as it was a windy weekend & it was really nice & sheltered that weekend. Beautiful sunsets. Highly recommend!

    We have several peaceful campsites available on our off grid property near Crows Nest. Also a private glamping site with a 5m Bell Tent - with everything you need for a relaxing night away. We are 10km north of the town of Crows Nest on the Great Dividing Range. 50 minutes from Toowoomba and 2 hours from Brisbane. The hill on the property (Flat Top) is one of the highest points in the area at 700m altitude. From the hilltop, you can enjoy 360-degree views of the surrounding area, with views across the Esk Valley towards the Sunshine Coast and sunsets over the hills surrounding Crows Nest. There are 3 separate campsites on the hilltop, and another site further down the hill alongside the main driveway. It is very quiet and peaceful, yet only a 10-minute drive to Crows Nest.     4WD Recommended - dirt/gravel road and two creek crossings (through the creek bed) to get here. We have a whole beautiful valley with crystal clear spring-fed creeks, patches of rain forest and hillsides covered in grass-trees backing onto Wrattens State Forest. There's 1,375 acres of land - the boundaries of our property are the ridges of the mountains that encircle us, and many rare species abound here. This is a dog and horse friendly property but no pets allowed in the cabin. There is paralysis tick in this region - so we'd recommend treating any animal before you come and frequent checks while you're here. No mobile phone coverage at the cabin, but there is a hill you can drive (or walk) up on the property to get phone signal if needed and we have a landline phone in our house which can be used in emergencies.

It's rough and remote with limited facilities, so it's not for everyone. Most people who stay usually fall into one of 2 categories - - 4WD'ers or adventure bike riders who would rather camp overnight in the bush instead of at a caravan park or pub - People who just want a weekend away in the bush with some mates, chilling round a fire with a few drinks If either of those sound like you, I think you'll love it here! There's 2 options to choose from - you can book the campsite only, or the cabin which is located at the same spot. Property features - - Great views - Dogs welcome (just don't let them wander) - Portaloo (flushing) + drop toilet (non flushing) - Shower hut (uses shower bags) - Water available 500m away - Firewood available - Good phone reception (Telstra) - 2WD accessible via Esk or Crow's Nest, 4WD recommended from Blackbutt - I only accept one group at a time, so you'll have the place to yourself The cabin has 12V lighting and a bunk bed with mattresses (double bottom, single top), you'll need to bring your own bedding.     The Croft provides a quiet place to sit relax and take in the fresh air. Birds doing the day will provide you with the Australian bush experience with the clear skies above you at night to shine a light on how big the universe is. You will have a 5-acre area to explore during your visit with a large flat campsite area with power and water if that is what you need. The onsite caravan – BETTY – is also available for your to book if you need a bit more of a glamping holiday. Self sufficient sites are available as well in another part of The Croft property near the dam and is accessed via the main property. Options for visitors are tailored for the horse rider however you don’t need a horse to visit and enjoy what The Croft has to offer. You can also spend time with the horses here with a variety of courses and lesson times available as both extras and as part of package deals and our flag ship Back in the Saddle retreat option. Bookings are all made via HIPCAMP and require pre approval so I can make sure that horses are available if you need a retreat package and to make sure that everything will be ready for your arrival. There are many things to do in Blackbutt as well as spending some time at The Croft. Every 3rd Sunday is our market day, the renowned Blackbutt Bakery is always at your disposal and a great pub for a pub grub night. If you are a rider and have your own horse, there is also a great dressage instructor in Blackbutt – Yarralee Dressage Development – who you can book lessons with during your stay. If you are wanting more western discipline work, I can provide you with some basic instruction on patterns and ranch trail tips. The horse trails network is 500m up the road and has signage. I have access to the rail trail via private property, or otherwise you can utilise Staines Road to get into Benarkin State Forestry or the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail.     Our venue and campgrounds are situated at the old Jimna State School property. The school closed in 2009 with the last students attending in 2006. It was then sold by the Qld government and has been rezoned as a Camping, Recreation and Events Venue. We have retained all the old school facilities for our campers to enjoy. There is a children’s playground and multi-purpose tennis court for everyone to enjoy. We provide tennis rackets, balls and basketballs free of charge to our campers. There is also no charge or fee to use the court. On most Sundays afternoons (weather permitting), we have social tennis where everyone is welcome to join in. The old school toilet blocks have the addition of hot showers and all toilet facilities are the flushing type. Campfires are permitted and there are small mobile fire pits provided so wherever you set up camp you can have your campfire right beside you. Note: There are no ground fires permitted and at certain times of the year Qld Rural Fire brigade may enforce a total fire ban. We have our “Caffeine Injection” kiosk on-site for the weekends and school holidays. Get your morning caffeine fix as well as bagged ice, firewood, ice creams, snacks, cold drinks etc etc Then we have the old school principals residence aka “The Bush Holiday House“. It is fully self-contained and all linen is provided. Just BYO food & drinks. We offer this for one night stays and longer. Jimna is a tiny town immersed in the Australian bush; with nearby gorges, ravines, creeks and waterfalls - some wild & spectacular places to see. What better place to base yourself and explore our part of the Conondale National Park, Jimna State Forest... be it on foot, horseback, motorcycle, 4x4 or mountain bike!! Holiday/Peak Season rates may vary.

This is a brand new kit home cabin, the same as you would see in caravan parks, with full bathroom and kitchen. there is a QB plus a fold out sofa The property owners are right next door, should you need anything just give us a shout out we will be happy to help. Please if you should have more rubbish than what would fit in the bin PLEASE let us know so as it's not just left out . Please Note Dogs must be on a lead at all times and you must clean up after them , And NO pets INSIDE There are plenty of places and thing to go see and do, such as exploring the Bunyas & National Parks, dams, lakes, The Rail Trail and there are also some lovely wine properties near by. The little town has an IGA and most things you will need, we have animals on the property horses and 9 border collies, so if you are an animal lover you will love it here. Some of the most popular catches are Golden Perch (or Yellowbelly) and Australian Bass with Silver Perch also stocked in the dam.
