Ingenia Holidays Cairns Coconut

336 sites · Lodging, RVs, Tents10 acres · Cairns, QLD
**Our Water Splash Park will be closed from January 28th, 2025, to April 16th 2025* for a complete new exciting upgrade. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. *Opening schedule is weather dependant and may differ to advertised completion date. ** Few holiday resorts compare in popularity to our award-winning BIG4 Ingenia Holidays Cairns Coconut in Tropical North Queensland. In fact, if you looked up the definition of ‘kid’s paradise’, you’re likely to see a description of BIG4 Ingenia Holidays Cairns Coconut. Set just seven-minute drive from Cairns’ CBD, Cairns Coconut is an 11-hectare landscaped tropical oasis that holds its own against Cairns’ popular visitor attractions – the Great Barrier Reef, Wet Tropics Rainforest, and Atherton Tablelands. Accommodation comes in a few shapes and sizes – with cabins, condos, villas, caravan sites, and camping grounds available – all with the same access to the facilities that earned Ingenia Holidays Cairns Coconut its gold medal in the Queensland Tourism Awards (2019). Sure, World Heritage-listed icons might lure you out of the park’s surroundings but you can expect to walk away with holiday memories of what’s inside the park’s gates too; between the two swimming pools, slides, splash park, and pedal cars. If timing your visit for school holidays, be sure to call ahead to find out what activities are planned in-park – so parents can have some well-earned downtime and kids can burn off energy. *only sites are available for pet bookings* Please note: We are unable to accommodate boat, trailer, or van storage within the park.

Kingston Road Farm Stay

2 sites · RVs, Tents150 acres · Whyanbeel, QLD
Camping in a quiet, peaceful rural location with lots of space, at a small private vegetable market garden and hay farm. You can base yourself on our property while making trips to nearby Mossman Gorge, Port Douglas, Daintree National Park, local beaches and other attractions. We offer sites beside a vacant farm cottage and hay shed, or a choice of other areas around the farm. Campers have use of spacious, clean amenities with hot shower, toilet and vanity. In the drier months, from April to December, we bale our pasture, and grow mixed vegetables and flowers to supply our roadside market stall in Mossman on Wednesdays each week. See Facebook: Pink's Produce, Miallo. Ours is a working farm that the two of us (not young folks) manage on our own. Campers can join in whatever we are doing at the time, stand by and watch, or just sit back and enjoy. If you are interested in growing veggies or just seeing how we do it, then we are happy to show you around. Otherwise you can just relax in peaceful surroundings. Our farm also offers unique elevated views of the local farming area with a backdrop of The Great Dividing Range, the Coral Sea and Port Douglas. There is also an impressive variety of butterflies and bird life to enjoy. Hosts are happy to show campers around our market garden that we start cultivating after the wet season and usually continue until December - weather dependant. Guests will have access to a portable fire place during their stay as well as a BBQ grill and hotplate. Firewood is available for purchase. We have electricity available from the vacant cottage at $20/night. Must be booked through Extras. Our 150acre property has spectacular mountain views, as well as views to Port Douglas and the Coral Sea. There are small creeks on the property that attract birdlife and have a variety of freshwater fish and turtles in them. Nearby there are several larger creeks for cooling off, and properties with horses, cattle and sugarcane. We are a 15min drive to Mossman, the closest town, and 45mins south to Port Douglas or north to the Daintree township. You can take a shortcut to the road to Daintree via the WWII Japanese Miallo Bombing Memorial. Sorry, no pets.

All Terrain 4x4 Park Aka Low 4 Adventures

35 sites · RVs, Tents20 acres · Chewko, QLD
Unfortunately due to the extreme weather events from Dec 2023, the park was significantly impacted and therefore remains closed. Thank you to all those people who have offered to help, but being a NFP organisation we are not in a financial position to fix the access roads and tracks at this point. The creek access has changed and this impacts on our ability to source water. Coming into the fire season adds another risk so it really is a double whammy! Thank you again for the offers of support. We are a group of like minded 4WD people who enjoy the great outdoors. The property provides tracks for driving, catering for different levels of experience and a large, flat area has been cleared for camping with ammenities. There is the added bonus of a seasonal creek for cooling off, scenic views and still only a one hour drive from Cairns. Mareeba is nearby for shopping essentials and the like, and places of interest such as Davies Creek and Granite Gorge are also nearby. The property is only available certain dates of the year - please check the calendar for availability or contact us if you have a special request. In the event that you have a minimum of 4 vehicles, subject to our availability we are flexible and may operate outside of our designated camp dates with notice. Dog friendly, 4 flushing toilets and a hot and a cold shower. Communal campfire pit. Mobile Phone Coverage.
