    Waterfront property on pristine Baffle Creek. The main house sleeps 10 is fully self contained and self catering, then there is a separate cabin that sleeps 4 also self contained. We rent this out as one complete package (we do not separate the cabin and the house).The cabin has everything you need for a comfortable stay with a full kitchen and bathroom available.Direct access to a nice sandy beach you can safely moor your boat right in front of the house or just enjoy the peace and quiet and admire the scenery.Baffle creek is renowned for fishing, crabbing and prawning all year round. Explore the miles of estuary systems or about 10 minutes by boat to the mouth where you can access inshore reefs or only 18km to world renowned dive site the Karma.Pets are welcome.     The perfect countryside retreat offering a peaceful getaway for travelers seeking relaxation and time out. The Cottage is Self-Contained with air conditioning, separate shower/toilet, kitchen and bedroom with a Queen Size Bed. It is serviced with Tank water so please use sparingly. The Boyne Valley Rail Trail, Kroombit Tops, the Beautiful Betsy crash site and the Grand Hotel in Many Peaks are not too far away to visit. An extensive network of trails makes this cozy hideaway suitable for hiking, mountain biking and riding your own horse. Enjoy the freedom to explore at your own pace ending your day by the firepit with your favourite beverage feeling quite at home. All visitors are required to sign a Waiver Form to be able to ride their own horses on the property. The trails are self-guided; therefore, it is important you stick to the tracks. Maps are provided for your guidance and convenience. A night pen and paddock are available if you would like to bring your horse to ride, at an extra cost. Please let us know if this is required. This option will be available from 1 June 2025. Most of the trails are gravel therefore we highly recommend horses to be shod. Please bring your own horse feed or hay and a bucket for their water if choosing to use a horse pen. There are sites available for friends and family to bring their SELF-SUFFICIENT caravans, horse floats, or trucks, at an extra cost. These visitors must utilize their own amenities, however, are welcome to join you at the BBQ area and Fire-pit. There is no Potable Water or Dump Point available. Children must be accompanied by their Caregivers at all times. Friends and family camping with you are welcome to bring their own horses as well, at an extra cost per horse. Please limit the total amount of horses on the property to six (6) per visit. Again, this option will be available from 1 June 2025.

    If you are after a quiet serine getaway on 40 acres, this property is for you. You are 4 minutes by car to Rules Beach where you can drive your 4WD with no permit necessary. You are 2 minutes to Baffle Creek Boat Ramp / Creek where fishing is great. You can Hire a boat from us ( boat license required) or a paddle board on the calm waters of the Creek. We have a filleting table and abundant water to wash vehicles. A Tavern, small convenience store and takeaway food is 10 minutes away at Baffle Creek Town. Turtle nesting on Rules Beach from November to March. Abundant bird life, wildlife and kangaroos. Close to the Historic town of 1770. We are off the Grid with 12v power, although there is a generator if you require to use the 240v. We have over a hundred mango trees and a couple of dams. Apart from the cabin, that has facilities and is fully self contained., if you want to camp you must be fully safe contained. We can also a small Jack-off camper that is also available to hire. There are walking tracks on the property.. Please do not leave pets alone in cabin. FREE Firewood Tours are available.

    Easy to find. Genuine and honest place with great local history. Host was extremely helpful and bent over backwards to make our stay comfortable and her hospitality made us feel welcome and right at home. What a gorgeous cottage. Recommend 100% <3

    This is a great Hipcamp, close to the beach and 4X4 track through Deepwater National Park. Beautiful well maintained grounds they are also improving, and a hot shower and toilet was a huge bonus.. lifesaver. I loved the small lake and would camp here again when up this way. I also left a light behind and they are kindly posting this back to me. Above and beyond.

    A really nice camping spot with easy day tripping to Deepwater national park. Nice little kitchen area and clean toilet. Pool was a bonus and the kids loved the animals and the chance to "help" out. Sarah was super responsive and always available to help out. Highly recommended and would revisit.

    We loved our stay at Goat Park. The property has so many lovely spots you can set up and Sarah and Tony are fantastic hosts. Greeting us as we drove in and showing us all the different options we could park our van at where we could get power and water. They even provided us with a firepit and wood which we enjoyed each night watching the amazing star show away from city lights. The facilities are great, the pool is awesome to chill in and the rope swings provide great fun for kids plus there is also a communal firepit in the secret garden. The best part of our stay was bottle feeding the beautiful calves. Ebony, Ivory, Champs and Effie are so cute and so sweet. There are also lots of chickens, ducks, geese and Guinea fowl roaming around the property. We wanted a chilled Easter away from the crowds where we could bush walk, ride our bikes and relax and it was perfect. Thanks Sarah and Tony we will be back.

    Our original campsite was unavailable due to construction works however our Hosts Mike and Laura couldn’t have been more accommodating. They resolved the issue within minutes and moved us to the Grass Trees campsite. All we can say is wow! The views from this site are amazing. The great amenities and very well kept- top class. We highly recommend this campsite and definitely be back (maybe we will even book a teepee) 🏕️🩷

    I enjoyed my caravan stay for 5 nights. The owners were most helpful on my arrival and provided me with power and water and a nice private site looking at their dam. Even invited me to use their in ground pool and allowed me to deposit rubbish in their bin. There are a number of other sites available in the area but I would return to this site as it doesn't get the road noise and dust and it's very private yet all the sites worth visiting are close.Keith R

    1770 ecocamp was a beautiful.peaceful place to camp. Close to everything but when you enter the camp site you feel a million miles away from the hussle & bussle. Staff were great, and the camp kitchen had everything you need. Can't wait to visit again

    We recently camped here for a few days for work. It’s a beautiful place, nestled in spectacular bush land. It really was a relaxing, peaceful spot. Sites were a great size, with plenty of privacy due to the abundance of trees. Also many great sites to choose from. Ours also had a gas bbq on site. Very friendly, accommodating staff. Good, clean, functional amenities, and good sized, well appointed kitchen/games/common area topped it all off. Thanks so much!!
