Jerrapark is just far enough away from towns and cities to feel remote and wild. Some guests have remarked half joking that as they enter the property it feels a bit more like Jurassic Park. A section of the farm has been preserved as rainforest…where towering palms and ghost like eucalypts stand over boulder strewn creeks that sometimes flood with roaring force. Everywhere there are wallabies, goannas and the weather sentinels…the black cockatoos. Bird lovers will find it is an excellent place to go birdwatching. We broke down 10km for the site and had to have van towed, Craig, Greg & Andy were fantastic in allowing us to glamp in one of their tents, whilst providing impeccable hostage, care, comfort, consideration in ensuring we were looked after not only by them, but the other campers. All contributed to ensuring our stay was easy and memorable- we will be back soon!

We stayed in the studio - a room with external access in the hosts' residence. Facilities are basic and rustic but enough for us to easily be comfortable. We enjoyed sharing space with Craig and Greg (Andy was away). They were very hospitable and kept us well supplied with tea, coffee and good conversation about so many topics. One evening, we were taken on a short walk to see glow worms and bioluminescent fungi - both dependent on suitable conditions. The property is large enough to take a good bushwalk along a meandering trail cut through the rainforest, providing lots of interesting opportunities to spot fascinating wildlife and flora. We'd love to return some time. We appreciated the hosts' welcoming, non-judgemental and relaxed hospitality.

What a beautiful spot and the property. We loved our stay at this property amd set up our tent close to the creek so we could listen to the sound of it in the sleep. Great swimming hole, the toilets and shower are clean. The hosts were lovely, helped us with free wood in his ATV and also got us out of the mud we got oursl car stuck in, lol. Top bloke. Will definitely return for the peace and quiet this place offers. Well laid out signs, grassy area to set up your tent and play.

As long as you are okay having naked people ( which is what it’s about ) it’s a good spot, good shower, toilets , peaceful and the guys are super friendly and helpful. Can’t comment on swimming hole as was just after cyclone so bit muddy but imagine normal times we good ,. Nice walks on the property

What a beautiful place to be. Really enjoyed our stay and next time would stay for longer. The camp-site is lovely and Tehuti falls and swimming hole just down the road is stunning. Absolutely 10/10. Most peaceful campsite I’ve stayed at. The creek is beautiful and good swimming hole. There were only 3 other campers there and they were very welcoming and up for a chat. I’ve seen some bad reviews about the toilets being not the best but they are composting toilets! And in a national park deep in the bush I don’t really know what else you’d expect. I was very happy with them, plus the host explains what the waste is used for afterwards and how it helps the planet which I am all here for! I’m planing on returning to this campsite on my trip back north and I can’t wait!

Our stay at Lumeah by the Creek was everything we want in a camp-site. We had our tent beside the beautiful Terania Creek. It is as described, and beautiful location and swimming spot. The location is very peaceful, and our dogs loved the space. The hosts provide free firewood and a fire pit, which is such a nice touch. We only stayed one night due to time constraints, but could easily of stayed longer, with many day trips that could be had. Will definitely be back.

Incredible. Cedar Creek Flat absolutely blew me away and exceeded expectations. The perfect spot for a quiet relaxing get away. Not overcrowded, gorgeous riverfront camping with a swimming hole to die for, communal space, jungle gym, trampoline (my inner child loved that) and only 20 mins down the road to the charming little Chillingham Store for supplies. Also met a few of the people who live on the land and they’re very friendly. Will visit again!

If you've got time, detour on the Warringa Pool track, which leads downstream from the base of the falls; you'll add another 2 kilometres to the walk and need to allow another 40 minutes to return. Best of all lookout Springbrook National Park has breathtaking lookouts, magnificent waterfalls, dense rainforest and ancient Antarctic beech trees. The park is part of Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage area. These lookouts are often shrouded by cloud, even when the weather is fine and sunny on the coast. For the best views, visit on clear, smoke-free days. Apple Tree Park Apple Tree Park forms part of the Gold Coast Hinterland Great Walk and is just one of many entry points. The starting point for the walk is the Settlement Campground at Purlingbrook Falls. The walk is a 54-kilometre trek through the beautiful Springbrook rainforest. You can do a much smaller distance if you prefer and still take in the great views and tranquillity of the rainforest. Pack your walking shoes, a hat and drink bottle and enjoy. See the birds, hear them chirping, be amazed at the beautiful historic trees. This spectacular location is just 29 kilometres from Mudgeeraba, at the top of the Springbrook range and is the access point for many of the amazing walks in the Springbrook area.
