Back-to-nature experiences get an upgrade at these Kangaroo Island glampsites.
There's so much more to Kangaroo Island than kangaroos (but don't worry, you'll spot plenty!). Dangling off the end of the Fleurieu Peninsula along the coast of South Australia, this pint-sized island has dramatic coastal walks, white-sand beaches, and wild bushlands, all waiting to be explored. If you don't fancy roughing it in the wilderness or bringing your motorhome over on the ferry from Cape Jervis, glamping is the perfect compromise. Check into an eco-friendly safari tent with seafront views over Hog Bay, rent a luxury glamping tent or cosy cabin on the edge of the Flinders Chase National Park, or spot kangaroos and emus from your camp as you sleep in a bell tent in the heart of the bush. Most glampsites include a comfy queen-sized bed, stylish interiors, and wifi, but some also come with an ensuite bathroom, kitchenette or minibar, and a private deck and BBQ area.
