The property is a private farm with 2 dams and views extending across the valley. There are a number of suitable locations to for bush camping. Site access is limited to dry weather and vehicles with single axle camper trailer or tent. It is recommend for vehicles with higher ground clearance. The River is the flattest of the campgrounds if you require a completely level site for your vehicle. A number of alpacas and sheep share the camp grounds. Sites suit bush camping with limited amenities. Potable water is available upon request but there are no toilets or services on site. There are a number of great wineries in the area all with excellent food and produce you can enjoy. Close to: Hahndorf - 5 min drive Stirling - 10 min drive Mount Lofty - 15 min drive Tour Down under (TDU) - passes at the end of the road several wineries Campers must be self contained with their own camping toilet and water and take all rubbish with them upon departure. Due to the livestock on site dogs unfortunately are not allowed.

Our 40 acres is 2WD accessible and set just off the coast in beautiful McLaren Vale, South Australia. The camp is set in a flat, cleared area on the rear of our working family property. With ample space to spread out and put your feet up, the River Red Gum trees also provide natural shade and shelter. Perfect for setting up tents, hammocks or a slack line! Along with local kangaroos, you'll likely spot our small flock of sheep in the paddock nearby or the neighbouring horses up the hill. Ask us about our small batch wine and take advantage of being in the heart of wine country - the nearest cellar door is only a 3 minute drive away! After an afternoon of wine tasting, drive 10 minutes to the beach and enjoy a sunset over the water. Tomorrow, choose your own adventure with more wining and dining, swimming and surfing, or walking one of McLaren Vale's stunning trails. On a Saturday, you might find yourself at the Willunga Farmers Market (5 min drive) which runs each week from 8am to Midday and offers a variety of local goods and produce. Wineries within a 10 minute drive include: - Battle of Bosworth Wines - Down the Rabbit Hole Wines - Fox Creek Wines - Ekhidna Wines - and many more! - Not to forget Swell Brewing Co., just 9 minutes away.
