For those wanting to spread out, prefer privacy or are traveling in groups we encourage you to book our 4wd Plateau and 4wd Dispersed Sites which are open during the peak months depending on cattle movements. Our main campground has 10 sites and is open all year round. The main campground has level grassed campsites measuring 6m in width and 19m in length (Sites 2 - 10) Campsite 1 is the larger site and measures 10m in width and 19m in length and sits seperate to the other sites. Price advertised is per site, per night for 2 people. Campfires permitted in designated area within the main campground only and when restrictions aren't in place. Firewood is provided. There is a kayak and a paddle board that you are welcome to use to have a paddle in the water. Property is located a 5 minutes' drive out of Derby. You can cross the river and then you are on the bike track that will take you to Derby or Branxholm, this is a beautiful walking track or carry your bike across river then ride. Suggest site 4 and 5 for best phone TV reception. Quiet location perfect place to stay for a few nights. Awesome quiet spot to get away. Property is on a working dairy/beef farm. Wood available for sale at camp to use in fire pits for just $10 per night you will have enough wood for your fire pit. By arrangement if time permits I can arrange for a cost of $20 per person a look at our dairy during milking.

You can help yourself to fallen kindling around the property but please BYO firewood and do not fell any of our trees.Pets are allowed but as our neighbours have sheep please ensure they are kept restrained and under your control at all times. Please clean up after your pets.Across the road is a beautiful beach for swimming, fishing, picnicking and relaxing. There are great National Park walking tracks with stunning coastal views close by for guests to explore. You will need a Parks Pass to do this and they can be purchased online.

Welcome to Sherwood River Camp, our self contained camping grounds with access to the Wild Mersey MTB trails. The camp grounds are located just 8 minutes from Latrobe and 15 minutes from Devonport.The camping area is located on the banks of the Mersey River where you can enjoy your favourite water activities or just relax by the water side and enjoy the sounds of nature.Campers must be self contained with their own camping toilet and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Pets are welcome but please keep them under control. We have rain water available as well.We recommend a 4x4 vehicle when towing caravans as the driveway to the property is gravel and on a hill.This is a working farm so please have respect for the host property and livestock.$10 per person, per night. Kids under 12 are free so don't put them as part of your booking.
