This property is part of a larger Family Estate and is surrounded by the National Park affording excellent access to the Grampians Peaks Trail, numerous walks and bike rides around the property and a well maintained Nature Trail which is great for strolls during day or to visit the possums, sugar gliders and nocturnal animals in the evening. Reserviour Creek runs just behind the camping area which runs from Spring until Autumn creating a peaceful place to relax and enjoy. The rustic toilet and shower block are the original workers' buildings but have been completely upgraded to immaculate modern, fully tiled facilities which boast large 1.2m showers and new well appointed toilets. These are a short 400m walk/ride from the campsites along a clearly marked track. Other things to note: *Due to being surrounded by the National Park, you may find that some mobile network coverage is a bit patchy but Telstra generally has good connectivity. Convenient to access, you are only 20 mins from bustling Ararat which is the largest town in the region and has an abundance of eateries and supermarkets. We are 40 mins from Halls Gap, the hub of the Grampians and 6 minutes to the Moyston General Store Cafe which has a reputation for exceptional coffee! You are just a phone call away from the owners for any help or advice. Enjoy our beautiful 160 acre estate. We ask only that you enjoy the tranquility and leave our land the way you found it.

We run of rain water so please respect water availability when using the shower and toilet. You must be self sufficient otherwise and leave with no trace left, thankyou. (No water & no bins)The shower & toilet is the original outhouse from the 50s, located within the deck of the house. We are central to beautiful spots. Find caves at Byaduk and a gift store. Not far from Hamilton you'll find falls to wonder around. We have three different listings available at Fulham Homestead: - Fulham Historic Riverfront - Fulham Historic Creekfront - Fulham Homestead Guesthouse Our Guesthouse sleeps up to 8 people and has everything you need for a comfortable stay including two bathrooms and a full kitchen. Unfortunately dogs are not able to stay at the homestead. Our camping sites offer good access for caravans and large motorhomes. All guests staying at the camping listings are required to be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must leave no trace on departure. The camping areas are dog friendly and we also have dogs of our own. You will also get visits from our pet Sheep, local Kangaroos and Wallabies. The Kookaburras will laugh loudly in the mornings and the Cockies will be annoyingly loud some days. This is an ideal base for those that want to do day trips to explore the local area or just plop and drop.

Gariwerd Farm Camp

$54/night for 2 people. Remote farm at the end of a road, no neighbours, and spectacular views of the Grampians (Gariwerd) that is most stunning in the morning as the sun hits Mt William. One camp site (one group only). The site accepts 8 people but if you are just two people you will have the place to yourselves except for the kangaroos, wallabies, emus, echidnas and birdlife. The campsite is situated next to our family's holiday farmhouse that we visit sometimes, but only when there are no guest campers. There is a fire pit with grill plates available to cook over the fire (note open fires cannot occur when fire restrictions are in place). Campers have access to the flush toilet, hot shower and kitchen in the house. The house is a work in progress. We are slowly renovating the house, so it is a bit rough but it is clean and functional and you will have the place to yourselves. Please respect the locked private areas of the house. Campers are expected to bring their own cooking pots, plates, cutlery, camp chairs, etc. Only 4 km from Moyston where you can get great coffee and visit the historic Mine Walk. Halls Gap is 35km away or head through the mountains over Redmans Road that takes you the scenic route to Halls Gap (2WD accessible in dry weather). Kalymna Falls and picnic ground is a beautiful 15 min bush drive from the farm. Talisker Homestead - 11 Bedrooms

Talisker is an 11 bedroom, 5 bathroom home at this stage. Initially forming part of the Merino Downs pastoral run (taken up by Francis Henty in 1836). Talisker passed to Francis’s daughter Caroline on the death of Francis in 1889. Merino Downs was one of the first three squatting runs established in Victoria. Following Caroline’s marriage to Angus McLeod, the Talisker Homestead was commissioned by architect Charles D’Ebro prominent for his design of Stonnington (Malvern) and Langi Willie (Skipton). The homestead (circa 1901) is a large U shaped designed Edwardian home of some 26 rooms (not all are available to guests as some parts of the home are undergoing further renovations). Featuring a viewing tower with expansive 360 degree views, elaborate plasterwork, colour leadlights and handsome timber and marble mantles throughout the home. The original garden design is evident with Bunya Bunya pines, a large Oak and a Kurrajong tree. Talisker is named for Angus McLeod’s (please note McLeod and MacLeod are used interchangeably) ancestral seat on the Isle of Skye. Talisker was for centuries a possession of the Clan MacLeod. In 1820 Donald Macleod, 6th of Talisker, sold his interest in Talisker and emigrated to Van Diemen's Land, now known as Tasmania. In 1825, Hugh MacAskill took over the Talisker estate and completed the clearance process begun under his predecessor. Five years later, in 1830, he founded the Talisker Distillery and the legendary Talisker whisky was born.
