Weekend Trip to Tuki Retreat
One of eight cabins, site also has campsites and trout farm open to the public.
Single bedroom with bathroom, toilet, kitchenette and lounge area.
Nice scenery and lovely furnishings, but felt the cabin was a little rustic given the price.

Clara and Caleb’s camp site was a perfect spot for us. They are so lovely too. They lent us the extension lead as we forgot to grab ours. Clara’s sourdough was delicious! There’s plenty shade. The Eco toilet was spotless. It’s very easy to find. We enjoyed the little walk in the Kinglake National Park that’s next to the property.

What stood out most was the thoughtful setup—they’ve clearly put effort into making the space comfortable and inviting. The campsite is private, with beautiful natural surroundings, making it a great spot to unwind. The hosts are friendly and communicative, ensuring visitors feel welcome. Future Hipcampers can expect a quiet retreat with scenic views, a great spot for stargazing, and a relaxing outdoor experience.

Silvercreek is great little spot for camping that's not to far from Melbourne.
The campsite has a lot good amenities, making it more easier for first time campers. Our lovely hosts were very helpful and provided us plenty of add on options to make our camping experience more pleasant.
Whilst the site is great on non-rainy days, campers will need to organize shade structures on rainy days. Also the bugs come out on rainy days- so be prepared!
Overall loved the experience and would go back in the summer.

Weekend Trip to Silver Creek Escape
Our group had a great time at Silver Creek Escape! Caleb is very friendly, accommodating and oriented us as we arrived. The place is very spacious and peaceful with walking tracks around and creek nearby. The eco toilet is very clean! Perfect for people who want to try camping for the first time! We definitely recommend this experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Silver Creek. Such a beautiful little oasis, with aome great walks in the national park If you do the red walk, go clockwise ha ha ha unless you like steep long uphill.
The weather was perfect for sitting in the creek across the road reading our books.
Lots of lovely wildlife, Butterflies birds, etc. very neat and clean facilities and very hospitable hosts. Loved our candle, soap and fresh bread and WiFi!
Eco toilet was amazing.
And we had an excellent meal at the Flowerdale Hotel.
Both Yea and Whittlesea an easy 25 min drive.

My partner and I loved our camping stay at Tuki Farm! We loved how there are only 5 sites and that we weren’t crammed on space. It was a very relaxing stay with amazing views and sunsets. We loved how there was roaming farm animals chickens, sheep and owners dogs. Amenities were clean. We will definitely be back.

It was so beautiful. The sunset changed as I sat and painted the very special scenery. Beautifully kept - the toilet blocks looked new and the host so friendly. We only had a night there but would have loved to have longer. There are three levels and we were on the first level We would definitely recommend this to all. Also the drive to the campsite was spectacular with gorgeous trees lining the road with names of fallen soldiers on each one of them. Very touching to see

I recently had the pleasure of staying in the campsite with my wife and a 3-year old son at Tuki Retreat, and it was an exceptional experience. The retreat offers an awesome view that truly takes your breath away. The pristine beauty of the surroundings makes it a perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature.
For those who enjoy fishing, Tuki Retreat boasts an enjoyable fishing area. It's a great spot to relax and perhaps even catch your dinner! The peaceful ambiance and natural setting make fishing here a wonderful experience.
Another standout feature is the Tuki Restaurant, which offers a delightful dining experience.

We left our Christmas holiday booking a little late. Having only being listed on HipCamp since November, Tuki had a couple of vacancies and WOW how lucky we are they did. Julian, Tuki Chef extraordinaire and host with the most was AMAZING to say the least. Incredibly accommodating, friendly, passionate about the property and boy can he cook. We had booked Campsite 5 but upon arrival found that Campsite 1 (lower pond) had so much shade There was no issue at all with us changing. And being hot we were so grateful for the shade - and what a view - ponds and fields and ranges. It’s probably the most peaceful camping we’ve done - only 4 other spaces available and they are huge - so much space. The birds and the roaming chickens all adding to the chorus of sounds. The amenities are incredibly clean and the lovely Jan so thoughtful providing bath mats for the shower. We bought our own food, but the Tuki menu was too tempting not to try. Normally the restaurant is closed on a Thursday for dinner however Julian offered to cook for us anyway. We were set up at a table overlooking the ponds, fields and ranges as the sun was starting to set and were treated to a gastronomic masterpiece with just about everything we ate coming directly from the farm. We had the tasting platter which consisted of 2 x 4 different delightful bite sized canopés - trout crudo, the farm Owners home made lamb sausage, trout mousse atop a home made crumpet and trout croquettes.
