Riverside king valley is set on a 16 acres on the banks of the king river featuring 10 spacious campsite spread along the property. Just a half an hour drive from Wangaratta, 45 minutes from Benalla and an hour from Mansfield. Each site offers something a little different whether it is a spacious site for a large group or party or a smaller site for a family weekend away.
Our site is accessible for all vehicle types and is dog-friendly as long as pets are well-controlled. Campfires are allowed when restrictions aren’t in place, and firewood and kindling is available for purchase (see Extras).
Please keep in mind that the property is a working farm and there will be cars and machinery onsite nearby to some of the sites. Each powered site has only 1 power supply. Generators can be used but must be used with others in mind.

The river is ideal for swimming, tubing, floating and fishing. Choose either to relax with a book and a glass of wine and do nothing or go and explore the many attractions of the wonderful North East area including the beautiful King Valley, Beechworth, Bright, Yarrawonga and Rutherglen plus many other gorgeous areas that have Art Trails or Silo Art Trails, all of which are 30-60 minutes drive from the property.
Billabong Flats Farm sites are very spacious with each section private from other Campers with a fire pit provided plus an abundance of open area for recreation for kids and dogs to run around.
The Swimming Hole Bush Camp is an extra large riverside bush campsite that could accommodate a large group of Vans (10 at least). It has a designated fire pit and Campers will need to have own Toilet/Shower amenities and be and leave no trace behind when leaving us.
Accessible for most types of vehicles. Dog friendly if well behaved and controlled and won't chase the Cattle. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place, firewood for sale (see Extras).
We are close to the region’s attractions including 15mins drive to Brown Brothers Winery in Milawa, many Lookouts and National Parks, Lake William Hovell, Restaurants, Wineries and Distilleries of this special area.

The main fish in the river are trout and cod so if you would like to try your luck fishing this is the place for you.Some of the surrounding towns include Mt Beauty (20 mins), Yackandandah (30 mins), Bright (50 mins), Beechworth (50 mins) Falls Creek (60 mins) with the border towns of Albury and Wodonga only 50 mins away. These beautiful towns contain an array of boutique wineries, craft breweries, bakeries and cafes, or you can choose to follow a farm gate food trail.The area also provides opportunities to go horse-riding, bike riding on one of the many rail trails or be adventurous on the mountain bike tracks at Falls Creek in the warmer months with snow sports in winter. The surrounding mountain ranges offer numerous famous 4wd trails or you might like to try your hand at panning for gold.This is a working farm and our animals are our family. They are very friendly but only know us and not you so please do not enter their homes without us, but feel free to talk to them over the gates. Be aware that all fences are electric and are switched on at all times. There is a dedicated communal campfire area for use when fire restrictions permit and we request that no additional fire pits are created during your stay. As this is a working property we are unable to accommodate your pets. For biosecurity reasons there is a strict No Pet policy.
