Our property is located on a working farm with The Hive Café open Friday evenings 6pm - 8pm (Pizzas, beer and wine), Saturdays 11am - 3pm (Full menu), Saturday evenings 6pm - 8pm (pizzas, beer and wine) and Sundays 11am - 3pm (full menu).
Unfortunately, we've had to raise our camping fees due to theft, breakages, and irresponsible behaviour that persistently occur.
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A NO-SMOKING FARM.
Wake to the sound of the bush and farm animals. This is a very scenic area, with the campsites surrounded by pine trees.
Interaction with farm animals. There are roosters that will crow early morning.
PLEASE DO NOT CHASE ANY OF THE ANIMALS.
ALL sites are NON-powered
Dogs on leash allowed outside only, not inside café.
Campfires - (campfires are only allowed when fire bans are lifted).
Wood is available for purchase at $30 per bag.
Nearest toilet dump site is Bindoon Oval.
Recycling Bins are available.
Generator noise can disturb other people’s enjoyment of the area and disturb native wildlife and the farm animals, so think about using alternatives. Solar panels and inverters are the best ways to provide power for your must-have devices when camping and can be used anywhere.
However we do allow generators, but they can only operate strictly between 9am-6pm.
Turn down all music and please lower your voices at 8pm, we don't mind if you still have fun, but take other campers into consideration please.
Adventure playground onsite for the "older' children and some smaller equipment for the younger ones.
All equipment is PLAY AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Playground Rules:

- No bare feet, wear proper footwear
- Do not use play equipment improperly
- No pushing or shoving
Free honey tastings are available when shop is open, but please ask and we can arrange a tasting for you.
Campers will be held responsible for any damaged caused during their stay.
Kindly note this is a working farm and we operates completely off-grid, where power and water are valuable resources. We kindly request that you limit your shower time to no more than 3 minutes and switch off all lights when not in use, our generator may start from time to time.

Please be advised that our camp adheres to the state bushfire ratings. In the event that a Catastrophic or Extreme Fire Danger Rating is announced, we may need to temporarily close our campsite. You may be asked to pack up and leave for your safety due to the high risk of fire danger.

A great property to reconnect with country
Please note, to get to the campsites there is a farm track and for most, a creek crossing.
We recommend 4WD or SUV to access ALL campsites.
Perfect place for caravans, camper trailers, rooftop tents, tents, swags, vans to various campsites.
There are horses and Scottish Highland cattle that usually greet you near the main entrance, and sheep and cattle graze the hill country and surrounds.
Plenty more for nature lovers here, including red-tailed cockatoos that flock to the gully to feed on the Marri trees, plus many other birds.
The resident Wedge-tail eagles soar above making the most of the thermals created from the hills and the local kangaroos
Dogs are welcome but must remain on leads at ALL times as this is a working farm.
You MUST bring your own camping toilet and be COMPLETELY 100% self sufficient with everything including drinking water

Located 10 minutes out of Bindoon on a secure, peaceful and private acreage Bindoon is a lovely small town that has an IGA, Post Office, Hardware Store, Pharmacy. Bakery and more.
You will need to be self contained and bring your own drinking water. Small dogs are allowed but must stay with your setup or be on a leash when walking.
Also if you have bikes, there is a bike trail into Bindoon from the end of Teatree Road (4.1km). This is where the Museum, Arts and Crafts centre and Men’s shed are located.

Freedom Farmstay - simple, back to nature camping for FULLY self-contained travellers.
CHILDREN are always FREE... We consider children to be 17 and under, if booking with teens, please list them in the 'children' section of the booking form.
Quiet location on acreage in rural Baldivis (within the Perth metro area).
We love our little tranquil piece of paradise... our little freedom farm, with it's beautiful natural spaces and menagerie of animals, yet close to lots of local amenities in Baldivis / Rockingham. We're just a 15min drive to the beach and 30mins to Perth city or Mandurah.
We can only accommodate a small number of campers, or groups of campers, at any given time.. so you have space, solitude and security for your family/group.
You MUST be fully self contained WITH your OWN TOILET.
There is NO power available.
Clear bore water for small tank fills can be arranged during your stay. NOTE: we do NOT have mains water and constant tap access is not available. Water refills need to be requested and you may need to wait several hours.
Sites are in open paddocks with some limited shade available. Dogs are allowed ONLY if kept on lead at all times.
Sites 1 & 2: Suitable for small/med vans, motorhomes, camper trailers and MINI-buses. Could fit 3 families if you're with a group.
Private site for your family/group only.
Site 3 (Families WITH children): Large area that can take all size vehicles including big rigs and full size buses. Could easily accommodate a dozen or so families if you have a big group.
This is a share site, so you may be sharing with other families (max 12 vans across 8 spots).

Important NOTE: This is a WORKING hobby farm. There are tyres and poles, sand piles, fencing projects underway, etc etc. There are also many free roaming animals - our friendly farm dog, the chooks, sheep and alpaca.. along with the usually contained horses who sometimes figure out a way to sneak out for a wander!
If you are looking for manicured, super flat areas or have a fear of animals - this is NOT the place for you.
There are also a HUGE number of factors that can affect your stay that I have ZERO control over... The seasons change a lot of things throughout the course of the year: we have snakes (like ALL Aussie bush places) for most of the year; an assortment of insects, according to their seasons; varying growth stages of grasses - long, short, brown, green and sometimes grass seeds/prickles.. along with some crazy weather on occasion (high winds, high temps, storms) - NONE of which I have any control over.. so if you are a moaning myrtle and any of those things are likely to bother you, please don't come to our property...
If you accept that you are staying on a working hobby farm / equine property and that I have no control over nature - then welcome, there is much beauty here for those who have the eyes to see - and as a base to explore the Perth area, we have a pretty convenient spot :)

Our family moved to Toodyay 5 years ago after spending 8 years in Kalgoorlie, we dreamt of space to keep animals and raise our children. Avonbrook is ideal with its yearlong Creek and rocky outcrops for our Dexter cattle and Nigerian Dwarf x goats.
We hope to enjoy for many years to come.
We have 3 campsites at the moment, site A is the smaller of them. There are unfortunately a few ants nests around so please be aware and pitch up anywhere around the site thats best, even on the paddock side if suits... thanks, Sarah
PS the cows can be naughty and like to chew cords so keep the gate shut to resist temptation!

The land is very well located being in a peaceful, tranquil and scenic location yet still very close and accessible to Perth city and suburban areas. The land itself consists mainly of rich fertile soil and red clay. In amongst the nature there is alot of wildlife (goannas, lizards, birds etc) especially kangaroos which can be seen regularly throughout the rural land.
The property also has a water bore and a few winter creeks running through the land. There is a spectacular and picturesque hilltop view overlooking Chittering Valley at the highest point on the lot

One Green Sheep is a 500 acre working farm north of Bindoon, Western Australia, with beautiful breakaways and valleys, patches of natural vegetation and old stand trees in amongst pockets of cropped land. We are just over an hour from Perth at the very north end of the Darling Range with enormous starry night skies.
My husband Kim and I have a strong focus on the environment and sustainability in our every day lifestyle and care for the land. Over the last 10 years or so we have planted almost 67,000 trees and shrubs successfully establishing wildlife corridors right across the property. We now also have 8 artificial nest tubes to support the Carnabys black cockatoos who return each August to breed. Our intention is to leave the land in a better state than when we first came here and we now want to share the wonderful environment with others, providing a place to get away and recharge as well as get excited about nature and all its wonders.
In line with our environmental focus, we ask campers to Leave No Trace. This means you will need to have your own toilet facilities with you, you will need to take all your rubbish away with you and leave your car parked for the duration of your stay. As fallen timber is precious habit for small creatures (it’s not firewood!) you will need to either bring firewood with you, or you can purchase some from us.
Dogs are welcome but please keep them with you and don’t let them chase stock or wildlife. You are welcome to bring push bikes, or to explore on foot.
We’d love to welcome you to this wonderful ecosystem. You will be camping in an area natural bush that feels a million miles from the city.
