Everything Horses Ltd

4 sites · RVs, Tents5 acres · Henley Brook, WA
5 beautiful acres in the Swan Valley with horses, we run a horse rehoming charity from here where all proceeds from hipcamp go to support our facility. Along with plenty of horses, you'll also see kangaroos at certain times and our pet sheep Jamima who thinks she's a horse! A superb property with a winter creek and an open paddock where the horses live. It's very peaceful. There are only two camping sites available on this wonderful property at any time so privacy is assured. There is also a dam on the property so please mind any children with absent swimming abilities. Campfires are allowed during the season, and there is a toilet and shower available in the shed 100 meters from the camping area. Smaller groups booking the campsites will have full access to the toilet and shower. Please note, however, we offer a group camping option for larger groups but those booking this option must be fully self-contained as our facilities are not enough to support a large group. We have a strict Leave No Trace policy here, we kindly ask that you take all rubbish with you when you leave. We also ask that you please do not feed the horses. The property is well located to access many great wineries and cafes in the famous Swan Valley area, some within walking distance. Security here is taken care of by Mr security guard "aka" Smoky our pet dog. He's very safe and timid. If you get a pat from this boy I know you're good, so beware! We are dog friendly here, so you're welcome to bring mans best friend and we also have a secure yard to house any pets if you need a break, so long as they don't hassle the horses. We may also be able to accommodate your horse - please discuss this with us prior to booking. We look forward to welcoming you to Everything Horses ltd where you can enjoy one of the last pockets of peace left in the Swan Valley area. We are everythinghorsesltd on Facebook with current uploads to see more of the property and animals here. Summer Creek

18 sites · Tents100 acres · Bakers Hill, WA
Summer Creek was established in 1884 by Edward Vivian Harvey Keane. Keane was a prominent figure in the development of Western Australia, having constructed over 800km of rail around W.A. The property runs alongside the discontinued railway line, known as the Kep Track / Golden pipeline trail, which is part of the same railway network as the Bibbulmun track. The old winery building was saved by R and A Poulton, after a demolition order was places on it by the Northam shire in 2002. The property is now heritage listed, and the fight to preserve it from main-roads continues. Come along to Karaoke at the Restaurant every Saturday night!!! Our camping set-up is a work in progress so we would appreciate your suggestions and feedback, we now have a cold shower on site. When things dry out we will be able to do more work on the accessibility. Also, stay tuned for our glamping option yet to come :) Currently Adults only, no children. If you book during the week (Monday to Thursday) please arrive before 7:30pm and make sure you give us a call to we know you are coming, we don't always check these messages. Thank you :)

Hop & Tweet Hill

4 sites · RVs, Tents5 acres · Chittering, WA
Nestled in the Perth hills, less than an hour's drive from the CBD, this undeveloped bush block on a gentle slope offers views over green bushes and an established orchard. This peaceful land, away from the rumble of city life, lets you unwind with the sound of the wind in the gum trees and the tweets of lorikeets feeding on olives and fruits from the orchard. A few platforms have been set up at strategic locations (and with a view) for yoga, meditation, or chilling with a book and a glass of wine. These platforms are also the best spots to observe kangaroos grazing or resting. Though the property is on a slope, there are several flat spots for camping. The largest and most accessible spot is right at the entrance. A 4wd is recommended for the other spots, particularly in winter. The property has water (from a rainwater tank) and power at the main shed, where you will also find the amenities such as a sheltered pic-nique table, BBQ (BYO bottle), sink and toilets. If you need a dump point, we recommend the one in Bindoon. It suits small rigs (may be a difficult turning area for large rigs) and has potable water and public toilets: 6180 Great Northern Highway, Bindoon, WA. GPS. -31.38567876, 116.0965891.
