This property is so well maintained and the owners are both very knowledgeable animal whisperers. I would recommend this stay for people of all ages. My family are already planning our next visit.

Jane & Marc have created the perfect farm camping experience for kids and adults a like - we really enjoyed our relaxed stay here. The farm setup has been well thought out and you can see the love and passion they have not only for the care of the animals, but for the land and in sharing it with others. The amenities (portas and cold shower) are well looked after and the communal area/ playground area is a welcome bonus and setup with thought. Can't wait to return in the winter for the campfire! Only dampener on our experience here (other then a few storms) was the party going on to 10:30pm on our last night, screaming profanities across the valley in a family friendly environment. The other nights drifting to sleep with a chorus of differing animal noises was far preferred. The farm tour is a must to get the most from your stay here - and getting an insight into what the farm really focuses on - the animal welfare.

We just had the most magical stay at Sandlewood Downs as 2 families (4 adults and 3 kids) We stayed at the goat mountain site and loved it. All the sites would have been great. We loved being immersed in nature and near the animals. It was the perfect balance of nature and privacy from other campers, whilst also having access to a flushing toilet which appeared to be continually cleaned, and a beautiful cold shower. The nature playground was shady and fun and the kids loved it. We did the animal feeding tour and loved hearing about the animals which were largely rescues. It was touching seeing how much Jane and Marc love their animals and how well cared for they are. We got to see 2 new born alpacas which was special. Can't wait to return!

We loved camping at the Billabong Site. The daily visits from the Highlander Cows and access to roam around the farm was so great! The family loved the animal tour and learnt so much about the animals, the land and the hosts. We were lucky enough to be there on the day a baby Llama was born so there were 2 babies roaming around. Such beautiful place, thanks for having us! We will definitely be back!

Stayed at dam site and woke up to beautiful views. Animals were all friendly and really made the trip. It was so enjoyable for my younger toddler and older kids. The friendly dogs and playground were extra benefits. Loved the farm tour also. Owners were amazing and welcoming. Can’t wait to come back!

We absolutely loved our 3 night stay at Hill Base on Sandalwood Downs!! Our 6 and 3 year old girls loved being on a farm and waking up to the donkies calling for breakfast! The animals were all so friendly and we had such a great time doing the farm tour (twice!) Jane and Mark tell some really funny and interesting stories. We even got to see an alpaca being born. We will definitely return 🙂

Davina’s place tucked away in the Swan Valley was the perfect stop for us to lay our heads after a long road trip from Shark Bay. It was a peaceful spot, even with two other spots occupied on the night of our stay. Davina was a great host, very responsive for any queries and making us feel more than welcome during our stay on her property.

Come and visit us in Mooliabeenee, situated in the beautiful Shire of Chittering. Camper vans, caravans and tents are welcome. Sites are on a slight slope. The Hive Cafe is open Fri & Sat Night 6pm-8pm Sat & Sun 11am-3pm Unfortunately, we've had to raise our camping fees due to theft, breakages, and irresponsible behaviour that persistently occur. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A NO-SMOKING FARM. Interaction with farm animals. There are roosters that will crow early morning. PLEASE DO NOT CHASE ANY OF THE ANIMALS. ALL sites are NON-powered Dogs on leash allowed outside only, not inside café. Campfires - (campfires are only allowed when fire bans are lifted). Nearest toilet dump site is Bindoon Oval. Recycling Bins are available. Generator noise can disturb other people’s enjoyment of the area and disturb native wildlife and the farm animals, so think about using alternatives. Solar panels and inverters are the best ways to provide power for your must-have devices when camping and can be used anywhere. However we do allow generators, but they can only operate strictly between 9am-6pm. Turn down all music and please lower your voices at 8pm, we don't mind if you still have fun, but take other campers into consideration please. All equipment is PLAY AT YOUR OWN RISK. Playground Rules: - Adult Supervision required for use - No bare feet, wear proper footwear - Do not use play equipment improperly - No pushing or shoving Free honey tastings are available when shop is open, but please ask and we can arrange a tasting for you. Campers will be held responsible for any damaged caused during their stay. Kindly note this is a working farm and we operates completely off-grid, where power and water are valuable resources. We kindly request that you limit your shower time to no more than 3 minutes and switch off all lights when not in use, our generator may start from time to time. ****Important Notice Regarding State Bushfire Ratings**** Please be advised that our camp adheres to the state bushfire ratings. With only 11 unpowered sites spread out over 100 acres, you are guaranteed privacy for you and your family and friends. 3 clean instant portable toilets. A refreshing cold bush shower is available on site. The farm also features a fantastic communal area for fellow traveller's to meet, chat, have a few drinks, sit by the amazing fire pit (during winter months), have a BBQ. The farm features many beautiful hand raised farm animals such as, camels, cows, miniature goats, donkeys, alpacas, lambs, deer, a pig, emus, ducks, turkeys, guinea fowls, geese, rabbits, chooks and peacocks. Spend some time strolling the stunning walk trails and taking in the amazing views on the property, The sunsets are vivid and beautiful. The stars shine and sparkle bright. Each site is cleared and levelled 9 site’s available 3 sites accessible by 4WD only (Hill Top Double Tree, The break and The Ledge) SMALL CARAVANS ONLY, camper trailers and tents at these 3 sights. 6 sites accessible by 2WD and 4WD. While staying at Sandalwood Downs we would like all visitors to understand and accept the guidelines and rules, which are in place for everybody’s happiness, comfort and safety. YOUR FAMILIES SAFELY IS VERY IMPORTANT TO US: - No bikes sorry. As we are a farm we do not have bike trails or paths. The paddocks are uneven terrain with incline and decline and are not safe for riding. - No yelling or squealing in the communal / play ground area. This area is for everybody's enjoyment. If your children are yelling and squealing you will all be asked to leave the communal area. - Please supervise your children at ALL times, this is for their safety. Children are not allowed to roam free around the farm without adults. Please ensure your children do not yell, squeal or run whilst around the animals. -Children must be supervised in the communal playground area, The playground is closed for use at 6.30pm. - No lighting of campfires. Local Shire and DEFES have very strong rules regarding this, and if lighting of a fire occurs people will be prosecuted by DEFES and the local Shire up to $36000.00 or 3 years imprisonment, -Fabulous communal fire pit open during winter months. No individual site camp fires due to safety of our property, animals and guests. -If you smoke please place your butts in a sealed fire proof container. Please do not leave them on the ground as it is a fire risk and our animals may eat them causing health issues. -No dogs permitted on the property due to our animals roaming free. -You must be totally self contained, own power and water, (3 clean portable toilet and refreshing cold bush shower are available for use in the communal area). -Please take away all rubbish. -No big party groups. -Quiet time from 7.30pm please. Please consider other guests and our neighbours. -Check out of campsite by 11 am please. -If a gate is closed, please close it behind you as will find it very hard to catch an animal that has escaped. - Please do not enter animal enclosures/ paddocks without Jane or Marc. -As we are a farm and you will be in our farm animals home, we ask you to please be kind and friendly towards all of our animals. -You approach all animals at your own risk -Please do not feed the animals any food that has not been given to you by Jane and Marc. -Please drive very slowly through paddocks 10km per hour as animals roam freely. -You will be handed a rules and guidelines policy when you arrive which includes an emergency and evacuation plan. Make sure you read and make yourself very aware of the guidelines, as your safety is very important to us. -Arrival during day light hours is a must please arrival by 6pm, for yours and our animals safety. Everything Horses Ltd

5 beautiful acres in the Swan Valley with horses, we run a horse rehoming charity from here where all proceeds from hipcamp go to support our facility. Along with plenty of horses, you'll also see kangaroos at certain times and our pet sheep Jamima who thinks she's a horse! A superb property with a winter creek and an open paddock where the horses live. It's very peaceful. There are only two camping sites available on this wonderful property at any time so privacy is assured. There is also a dam on the property so please mind any children with absent swimming abilities. Campfires are allowed during the season, and there is a toilet and shower available in the shed 100 meters from the camping area. Smaller groups booking the campsites will have full access to the toilet and shower. Please note, however, we offer a group camping option for larger groups but those booking this option must be fully self-contained as our facilities are not enough to support a large group. We have a strict Leave No Trace policy here, we kindly ask that you take all rubbish with you when you leave. We also ask that you please do not feed the horses. The property is well located to access many great wineries and cafes in the famous Swan Valley area, some within walking distance. Security here is taken care of by Mr security guard "aka" Smoky our pet dog. He's very safe and timid. If you get a pat from this boy I know you're good, so beware! We are dog friendly here, so you're welcome to bring mans best friend and we also have a secure yard to house any pets if you need a break, so long as they don't hassle the horses. We may also be able to accommodate your horse - please discuss this with us prior to booking. We look forward to welcoming you to Everything Horses ltd where you can enjoy one of the last pockets of peace left in the Swan Valley area. We have 1 shower and toilet cubicle for the property (this is due to our licensing and registration restrictions) this is usually more then adequate but in peak times (public holidays) there can be a wait. PS there is an extra toilet in the green garden shed behind the main toilet. BYO toilet paper When parking in your site please be aware of sprinklers, they are all above ground and generally quite visible. There is a $50 repair charge for broken or damaged sprinklers and $250 for solenoids. Injuries and fatalities to our animals. We have 2 dogs Mack(BIG PUPPY) & Vegas (pug sometimes I’m hard to see from your car) free range chickens and Guinea fowl that like to visit For any injuries caused guests are 100% liable for all vet costs. fatalities to the birds incur a $150 fee. Due to council and safety regulations, on days with catastrophic fire warnings and vehicle movement bans the property is required to be evacuated. If the need for evacuation occurs you will be refunded the portion of your stay when the warnings are in place. Gas cookers are allowed during the summer however no fire or coal/webber cookers. Under NO circumstances is outside timber/firewood to be brought onto our property for bio security reasons. If you do you will be asked to wrap it,seal it and take it home immediately! FUN STUFF Beautiful reticulated property, grassy sites and plenty of wildlife. Usually plenty of room to spread out ( not so much in peak periods) Relax on our beautiful lawns or one of our hammocks and let the resident frogs 🐸 sing you to sleep. As you wander you may help yourself to the herbs growing but please leave the fruit and veg! lay out a picnic blanket and have a glass of wine and nibbles. They will pair beautifully with our homemade jams and chutneys available onsite. On hot days I’m happy to turn on the retic for big & little kids to run through.
