My Great great grandfather purchased the land in 1834, I am the 5th generation on this farm. Areas first apple orchard started in 1910-1990 now a wedding venue with beautiful scenery. The retired apple orchard still has trees with vast walking trails between the rows. Amazing wildlife! Vast walking trails that are kept mowed. Fishing pond available (with prior permission) pet friendly property for responsible owners that clean up afterword. 2 Bathroom options! One with running water only a 2min walk or use a new port-a-pot with attached sink very close to the shelter. Enjoy - Breeo smokless firepit, two Adirondack chairs, two hammock chairs, 8ft epoxy coated picknick table. Fast Wi-Fi at this spot! R/C and non motorized bike dirt track available to use. Berms, high bank turns and whoops! dogs love them too. Local attractions - Brew links brewing = 3 min drive, Splash Island water park = 5 min drive, Indianapolis Motor Speedway = 35 min drive, Hendricks Live Music Center - 7 Min drive More local info, check out this link! https://www.visithendrickscounty.com/trip-planning/regions/plainfield/ No chickens on or near property, so go ahead and sleep in...A extra tall 20x20 level and covered carport with electric and water. We provide a fire pit and wood for 4 hrs. New smokeless fire pit, hanging hammock chairs and a big yard to enjoy nature. Camp under, beside or behind the enclosed carport. 2 Bathrooms, first one with running water are about a 2 minute walk, however closed January and February. A new clean Porta potty is provided year round, attached sink. Some walking trails in the woods. Reinforced gravel drive with round about, so no backing in from the road! New smokeless firepit! See what all the buzz is about and enjoy some custom built Adirondack chairs. Free WiFi (fiber internet - super fast) See host for password. Updated unit for extended range! The carport is over 200 feet off the county road and very private, only a few houses in the distance (besides mine) can accommodate up to 10’ tall RV, however some A/C units will not clear so most people partially back in to structure. You will be within feet of 50yr old apple trees, probably the last in the state!  Excellent spot to stargaze  Leave the loud, smelly truck stops behind and book apple acres!

Apple Orchards
5 m campervan
Staying at Jonathan's orchard with my dog in our campervan has been a dream. I'm originally from the Indy area but had a breakdown while passing through and wanted somewhere near the city but with enough nature nearby to keep my nomadic heart happy. Jonathan's HipCamp is perfect! It's near enough to stores and resources that I don't feel stranded, but it's in an open area with a beautiful landscape of woods, fruit trees, and open skies. My dog and I have loved being here, and really enjoy all the nature trails through the woods! The electric plug-in and water available under the carport has been so great--I've stayed all over at HipCamps from Florida to Alaska and Canada, and this is a great option for short or long-term, and can accommodate anything from a tent to an RV (and I believe I heard they once hosted a converted school bus!). Jonathan has been so welcoming, and he and his family are always respectful of our privacy, but he has also gone above and beyond with offering to pick things up for me and/or help me problem solve as I do repairs on my van. If you're looking for a place near Indy that's a bit off the beaten path, this is the HipCamp for you. I cannot recommend it enough! :)

What a great stop!! As a single traveler sometimes I’m just warn out at the end of the day, this was one of those days. High winds, traffic, terrible Indiana highway and I was exhausted. Jonathon was just being helpful and starting plugging stuff in, he has zero idea what that meant! Sometimes it’s the smallest things that make a huge difference. Off the beaten path, tucked away on a retired apple orchard. The view across the street was stunning. GPS took me to a house up the road. The driveway in is hard to see. I went to the Martha’s orchard sign, not the correct place but Jonathon met me there and showed me where to go. His place is directly across from the barn with the huge American flag, I’ll post a pic. He’s going to work on a great eye catching marker so we see it better! Love love loved it

Camp here! It’s great!
10 m fifth wheel
32’ 5th wheel camping was wonderful. Had plenty of room, permanent awning on site was helpful for shade during peak hours and site had everything we needed! Host was very helpful providing an extension cord and checked on us regularly. WiFi connection was strong …. A complete hassle free and enjoyable trip! We walked the old apple orchard every evening, enjoyed a fire in the fire pit and plenty of room to play fetch with our dog! Highly recommend!

Quiet restful site
10 m Class A · With pets
This is a beautiful quiet and relaxing campsite. I had to have surgery and needed a nearby site to decrease travel time and allow our dogs to be with us. Site was clean. Electric and water worked fine, 50 amp service. Would recommend extension cord if you are a class a staying at this site as power is a back of site and we would not fit under canopy. We will definitely be back when needing to stay or pass thru the area. Dogs loved the site too.
