Enjoy a stay at Heritage Farm and experience all the exhilaration that an Indiana farm has to offer. Heritage Farm is a working alpaca farm with over 50 alpacas you can watch and interact with. Also residing on the farm are a flock of chickens, several goats and a horse. The newest addition to the farm is a pain of small breed Kune Kune pigs! If you want to, you can help with the daily chores of feeding the animals and collecting eggs. After that, you can explore the big red barn that was selected as one of the top-ten Bicentennial barns in the state. Roam around the 120 acre homestead, woods and creek and soak in the sights, sounds and smells of the farm. Be sure to visit our farm store before you leave where you can shop for alpaca products such as sweaters, hats, mittens and scarves. Pick up some honey made from bees on our farm or some farm fresh eggs from our flock of pastured chickens!
Heritage Farm has several options for overnight lodging. One of the most popular places to stay is in our authentic 1850's log cabin. And it's certainly special to us as well. The cabin represents a valued part of our heritage. It reminds us every day of our agricultural roots, solid values and the importance of faith and family.
Our Philosophy
You want to have a wonderful stay at Heritage Farm and we want that for you too. This is your retreat for however long you are staying and we hope you'll be relaxed, comfortable and happy.
Our Faith
Our Christian faith is important to us. We have been so richly blessed with this farm and sharing it with others is what God has called us to do. We strive to show God's love to our guests by exceeding their needs and expectations and by inviting them to enjoy his beautiful creation.
We abide by what it says in the Bible in 1 Peter 4:9-10:
"Cheerfully share your home with those who need a place to stay. God has given each of us a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another."
Valuing Our Past, Building for the Future
Our mission at Heritage Farm is to apply that same pioneer spirit and value system to our alpaca business and Farm Stay enterprise. We are dedicated to working hard to provide the best of care to our herd and our overnight guests. I imagine the original occupants of the cabin would have done nothing less.

Tim and Beth are great hosts with an amazing property. The alpacas, chickens, dogs, cats and the quiet are the most calming camping site you could ever want.
It's a working farm. It doesn't feel like a working farm. It feels like a home in the country and we can't wait to come back!

Family of 5
Group trip ·
Heritage farm was an amazing reprieve for our family of 5 with two college freshman who enjoyed being in nature! Exploring the property, meeting all the animals who were so friendly, fresh farm eggs for breakfast, and a picture perfect fall weekend. Thank you so much for a weekend to remember for our whole family.

Peaceful and Fun stay
Tent ·
Me an my bestie stayed here for the weekend while we went to the Hippie Fest in Tipton. we saw the fun things they offered here and just had to stay! It was lots of fun! We were the only ones staying that weekend due to storms but that didn’t stop us! (Only eneded up having some light rain) we did the alpaca trekking which was very cool! The whole family was very kind! We plan to come back every year along joining the hippie fest!
I will say they do have around 10 barn kittens that are very friendly. I didn’t mind at all I loved them. Just for anyone tent camping that might not like cats they will most likely join you at your camp site.

We're making it an annual tradition

We had a perfect time (helped by perfect weather!). Despite the holiday, we had the Creekside Campground all to ourselves (group of 9). The site was large and well-maintained with ample flat, dry ground for multiple tents. The kids loved wading in the creek and visiting with the friendly goats on the "island." We all loved feeding the alpacas, the leisurely hikes, playing with the kittens, and shooting hoops. Restrooms were clean and the hosts were lovely.

Great place. Had a group of 13 at the Vintage cabin, more than enough beds for the little ones. The rest of the us, big kids and adults set up tents around the house. There enough sitting area on the deck and the fire place. The owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The Pizza was great! Already planning for next year!
