    Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
    360 degree high desert Mountain View + Comstock mine view. Enjoy your own little quiet private space + gorgeous views. We are 15 min east of Carson City, 10 min south of Virginia City. Please do not feed the wild horses. Absolutely NO fires. Otherwise enjoy the quiet, the scenery, stars, sunset and breeze.You will have your own private driveway that leads to the sunset view campsite. You will have to back your vehicle out. There is not turnaround. This is a tent camping site only. No bathrooms or hookups. Guests will need to be self contained, take waste with them and leave no trace.. It's best to arrive before sunset as it's very dark here - but the starry views are worth it. To access this site it is best to have an awd or 4wd vehicle. We cannot guarantee that a car can make it up the driveway that leads to this camping site.
