    Bajimba Eco Camp is part of our stunning family property nestled in the surrounds of Mt Bajimba in the Northern Tablelands of NSW, 40 minutes south east of Tenterfield. Historically known as a resting point for bullock teams hauling timber from the surrounding forests on their way to a saw mill in the lower valley, Bajimba is now home to Merv & Carey. We are just over 1080 metres above sea level, with 57 acres of eucalypt & grass tree forests, grass pastures, and a small (but mighty) organic farm. Accommodation options include "West View “situated at our highest elevation with incredible views from the deck, and "Bullock Camp" which can accommodate tents, caravans or motor homes. When making travel arrangements, note we are in NSW and therefore are 1 hour ahead of QLD during day light savings months. It is encouraged if possible that guests arrive before 6pm to ensure a smooth and stress free check in to camp. Being able to experience the sunset is all a part of your Bajimba stay! Amenities for both sites include an ablution block with hot shower and composting toilet, with steam sauna and wood-fired hot tub available by appointment. Please call at time of booking if hot tub and sauna facilities are required (especially for same-days bookings). Wood fired hot tubs require four hours to heat appropriately. Also note that all toiletries are provided to ensure that our critical farm ecosystem is maintained. Bajimba backs on to Washpool National Park, providing thousands of acres for 4wd exploring, with fishing, hunting, hiking, bird watching only a stones throw away.

    The View lives up to its name
    West View
    Merv is an amazing host and has a slice of paradise down a long single lane unsealed road, through the historic sandy flats region south of Tenterfield. The property is special, on the hillside in lush greenery, with spectacular sunset views. A cold bottle of vino, native flowers and farm fresh tomatoes and eggs awaited our arrival. The tent is well appointed with everything you will need, just bring your selves and food/drinks. The loo has the best view I’ve enjoyed while contemplating life. And take advantage of the wood fired sauna/hot tub! Truly magical under the stars and the ultimate way to wrap up your day. We had wallabies and bountiful wildlife visitors and an incredible dawn - a kaleidoscope of steely grays, blues and pinks behind the dark green vegetation. Can’t wait to go back! Thank you Merv 🙏

    What a beautiful place. Merv was so welcoming and kind, the facilities are amazing - lovely hot shower and clean toilet. The whole place is a complete dream! Thank you for a lovely stay Merv.

    This is our second stay at West View -it’s that good! Hosts are very friendly and welcoming and their property is amazing. Merv even invited my daughter to join in on the morning feeding of his cattle, sheep and chooks. Brilliant!

    Amazing location, West View tent is tucked away at the top of Merv's property, cannot see another person or even a house light from there so was very peaceful. Awesome hosts and very comfortable, will definitely visit again

    The best Glamping experience
    West View
    What a wonderful experience, first of all, the owners are a lovely Kiwi couple, super friendly and they showed us around on their property, which provides them a lifestyle with organic fruit and veg, chickens and many more. The Glamping tent was exceptional, with everything you could possibly need in there, very well thought of. Blankets, pans, games, and even 2 fresh eggs from their own chickens! We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and booked the Sauna + hot tub, which was absolutely lovely, as we could see all the stars. I would highly recommend visiting this place, as we've been to many glamping spots before, but never seen anything as good as this one.
