Not too bad for a couple of nights
5 m travel trailer
The campsite was flat with plenty of shade, free range chickens which weren't too bad, the rooster at 4am was a different matter. The access to the flushing toilet was a bit precarious, it rained over night and the steep entrance and exit were very slippery. the toilet itself was very clean. There was access to the water front across the road but wouldn't have tried to get into the water there. The host met us at the gate and gave us citronella candle which was appreciated as the mozzies were big enough to carry you off.

Not what was promised
Tent
Nothing to get excited by here especially on arrival and the hosts declare what a pain Hipcamp is!!! Add to that the photos are very deceiving. You are not camping in the banks of the river - there is a road between the property and the river. What’s more, trying to access the river is tricky, knee deep in black mud with just a rickety, flimsy “path” to try navigate your paddle board down. Definitely not what was promised in making use of the river from the camp - maybe if you drive down the road it is easy to access All of this can only be surpassed by the joy of a rooster crowing from 4am and waking up the entire campsite. Free range chickens - fine. But you forgot to mention a rooster without a clock!!! Finally, we had the misfortune of annoying somebody there and as revenge they switched off the power to the toilets so there were no lights to navigate to the toilet and utilise them at night. The toilet was clean but no toilet paper and no bin for feminine products I’ve stayed at a lot of camps and loved them all but this is one I will definitely never return to.

Nice little spot. In close proximity to the river, there's fun local animals around, has nice amenities, and there are other cool things to explore nearby. Binda Billa has friendly, accommodating hosts.

It’s OK
Tent · Group trip
The site was ok. there’s flush toilet, non potable water and you can hook up electricity, just carry at least 50m lead with you.we had our portable generator as the electricity access is not mentioned in the description which is ok.limited access in fishing. the site has enough trees for shade, grass is green and clean. the bins are small and gets full quickly if the property is fully booked. decent camp sites.we had no chance of bonfire/naked flame due to council restrictions. Overall its ok.fair price. If your only looking for a place to camp a night or two, it’s highly recommended.
