    Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
    Chasma Downs is a 250 acre horse and cattle property situated a short drive on a sealed road just 5 km from the historic gold mining town of Gulgong, and 30km from the food and wine mecca Mudgee. Our country is gently undulating with a creek winding throughout the middle, at its highest point the lights of gulgong can faintly be seen. Birds, wombats echidnas and other wildlife are often mooching around the beautiful Wyaldra creek.

    Quiet and peaceful

    Syd went above and beyond to accommodate our group His property was easy to find and was easy to manoeuvre around The site was flat and clean We had fresh water holes to swim and fish in Kids had fun patting and feeding the horses and cows We will be back for another stay

    Beautiful site. Plenty for the kids to do. Syd is a very friendly and accomodating host. He provided a fire pit, fire wood, a garbage bin and some hay for the kids to feed the animals. Kids were able to fish and swim in the waterholes. Thanks Syd, 10/10.

    Site 1- Hillside Creek Camp
    We loved our stay here. From the communication with the hosts to the remote location. It was so peaceful. The hosts were so accommodating to find us a spot near the river so I dog could swim and also came to say hello with their horse. There was plenty of fire wood and we watched sunset on the hill.
