Dharawal Camp offers all the benefits of glamping. Enjoy a peaceful night's rest in your tent/vehicle, then hop out of bed and enjoy the peaceful surrounds of the cabin with access to a kitchen area supplying fresh rainwater. With the secluded bush surroundings and the quiet, it's hard to believe you're only an hour away from Sydney. You might even see a Koala There is strictly no accomodation in the Cabin. The camp features a camping toilet and bathing facilities, a kitchen washing area, a recreation space and dining table when the weather is bad. All you need to do is roll out your swag. Campers are encouraged to take their rubbish with them. There is access to power for campervans/caravans. Warm your toes at the outdoor fireplace whilst you chat with friends. (Please bring own firewood). You will be a 10 minute drive from the beautiful Dharawal National Park which has wonderful swimming holes and bush walks. The site is 15 minutes drive from Campbelltown, which offers all amenities of a large metropolitan city.Dharawal Camp offers all the benefits of glamping. We had a wonderful weekend, the campsite was only a short drive from Sydney, felt very private within the beautiful bush and had so much provided including a cabin with hot showers, indoor seating, ping-pong and the outdoor fire pit. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Beautiful

Staying at David’s camp was exactly what was needed. An hour from Sydney yet it felt as though you were in the middle of nowhere. The kids loved playing in the cabin (with table tennis battles) while the adults loved sitting by the fire. Lovely luxuries with electricity, bar fridge, BBQ, toilet and shower. Yet surrounded by beautiful forestry, nature and wildlife. If in a 2WD, you will have to walk your tent down. It’s only a short walk (10metres) but it is steep. That said, it’s worth the extra cardio workout for how lovely the space was. We will definitely be back.

It's a beautiful place away from Sydney. We had a great time with our furry pet. We tried our luck with the pizza oven, played table tennis, and enjoyed the cold autumn breeze. David was extremely helpful and polite. He was there to lend a helping hand when we had a small mishap. I wish we had more time to enjoy his property. It's definitely a place you won't want to go back to.

Best of both worlds

Absolutely perfect little bush camp close to Sydney but feel like you could be anywhere! Lovely facility. Mid cons when necessary. Close to some beautiful walks. Jinnka pool was a highlight. Was great for our family of four but would also be a great weekend getaway for group camping. David was a fantastic host!

What a wonderful stay! David is a great host! The cabin was great for our family to enjoy. The pizza oven was fantastic and relaxing by the fire was amazing! The only small drawback was the visiting dogs from the neighbours. Normally I wouldn’t mind as I love dogs but my dog is not social and barked like crazy at them. Other than that I would definitely recommend tis place!!
